February 2004

Happy February!  This 2nd month of the year is a time for enhancing all that we started, including relationships.  The 1 of January brought us into action, moving us to launch into new endeavors since we enjoyed a fresh new start, the kind that instigates New Years resolutions.   In February we continue to add to, and sustain, these creations.

Since the planet is currently experiencing major shifts, opposing forces will come into play more strongly than usual.  If we spend our energies in the negative of the 2, we can get caught up in the differences in the world rather than putting our focus on finding commonality and connection.  Let the 2 encourage balance in your life and in the world and seek a greater yin-yang existence.

Since 2 represents harmony and cooperation, February is a great time to focus on working well with one another and understanding points of view beyond our own.  The draw of this number to feel a bond, connection or partnership with a special person creates a vibration ripe for developing new relationships.  How appropriate that Valentine’s Day is in February.  Even the date of 14 for this romantic holiday couldn’t be better suited since it represents regeneration, sexual energy and love!  Enjoy this harmonious time together!

March 2004

Here in the middle of March we are in a time of expansion. As the trees are blooming after the cold and dark days, it is time for us to come out of our winter hiding space and enjoy the colors of spring! Yellow daffodils smile at the sun from their happy families scattered along the hillsides. They are feeling and expressing this “3” month of charm, self-display and self-expression. Spring fever is in full swing. Feel it, live it and experience it!

The “3” of March awakens our desire to be social, to meet new people and to spread our wings of freedom. Explore your artistic side and allow yourself the time and space for freedom of expression. Go out into the world and show yourself. Let others see your beauty. Share your laughter, joy and good cheer.

Communication is always important, and now more than ever. Display who you truly are for this is the way to find and develop true friendships. State your truth, be clear and broaden your understanding of others. It is time to share what you may have been harboring. Wishing you an expressive, cheerful and outgoing March!

April 2004

Spring has arrived; at least it has on the west coast! The expression “spring fever” rings true again during this 4th month since it urges us to listen to our hearts, the fourth chakra. Just as in April we find birds mating and building their nests in which to lay their eggs, this is also a popular time for weddings in our human society. Romance, love, sensuality and virility are the true essence of this month. What better month to begin to build a life together based on love, caring and a sharing of the heart.

April is a productive period of working toward--and focusing on--putting order into your life. Deal with your daily activities in an organized way. Be economical and practical with your finances. Any sort of planning and building would be appropriate regarding remodeling of your home, developing lasting relationships or redefining and adhering to your budget.

It is important to blend together the joy of love and the discipline of laying a foundation for the future during this month. Boundaries are the key here: Balance the two desires so that the lightness of spring can be absorbed and shared, while the powerful urges toward responsibility and accomplishment provide the structure to keep you moving forward toward fulfilling your desires.

Listen to your heart in all aspects of your life, whether it be career, family or your day-to-day operations. Opportunities may arise that will help you learn to open your heart to others. Let your heart speak to you, and through you. Wishing you all a radiant, heartfelt April!

May 2004

Welcome to the month of May. Open your doors to changes, excitement and travel. During this 5 vibration, it’s time to move about and leave any stagnancy behind. Be social, meet new people, go on excursions and enjoy the thrill of adventure. If you feel restless, this is normal. If being active physically doesn’t appeal, then exercise your mind with new studies or hobbies. Allow for flexibility in situations and go with the flow whenever possible. This is a time of bending, leaping and fluidly adjusting to whatever comes along. It may seem that life is determined to create change during this month. The universe is in the process of reshuffling, so be prepared and think positively about the new vistas exposed to you.

Communication will come more easily, so
express and promote yourself. Experiences and new contacts will provide you with greater wisdom.

All the “
ex” words here are accentuating the time for expansion, so spread your wings and experience a broader you! Wishing you happy sights along your flight with wings of brilliant colored feathers!

June 2004

We have entered the month of unconditional love and nurturing, in a year of the same number “6”. This white-light vibration is joyful and healing. Since the month and year are of like resonance, this further accentuates this positive and uplifting energy.

June weddings have always been popular thanks to June’s placement as the 6th month of the year, but I would expect this month in 2004 to bring more June weddings than usual. 2004 represents partnerships and relationships (2) and love from the heart (4) and unconditional love, caring for others and family (6 being the sum of 2004). The number 24/6 represents the strong desire to be in a romantic relationship, to create a new family home and to create children. All year long we get to bask in this loving warmth, with June being exceptionally bright.

The number 6 of June represents creativity and beauty, so take advantage of this period to redecorate your home, revise your wardrobe, or make space for your artistic talents to blossom. Take care of your body; find creative ways to improve your health and overall well-being. The 6 brings healing through teaching, counseling and all sorts of care giving and light work. We may find that we are asked to provide these services more than usual to our friends and family or even in our work place. So as we spend this month and year in a healing vibration, the healing will be going both ways, each of us participating on each end of the giving spectrum.

I hope you enjoy this loving, warm and creative month and year of beauty and harmony, and bathe in its sparkling sunshine!

July 2004

Vacations often occur in July since the 7th month represents rest, reflection and quiet time. July is your month to take it easy and restore your strength. Nature runs in cycles of 7; our metabolisms and bodies change at every 7 year point, there’s the “7-year itch” in marriage, the moon has four 7-day cycles and weather patterns often happen in 7s. Our weeks are made up of 7 days, and depending on the cultural background, one of those days is traditionally the day of rest and a retreat from work. Welcome July as your time away from your daily work life.

Use this month to analyze and reflect on your place in life. Make time for yourself and let your thoughts wander and bring you intuitive direction. Any philosophical, religious, or metaphysical disciplines, including meditation, yoga and t’ai chi are appropriate now. These allow inspiration and visions to flow through, enhancing your reflection upon yourself and your purpose in life.

Since July is a time for slowing down, avoid impulsive actions, extreme concerns with business and finances, and physical overexertion. Instead, take a well-earned relaxing vacation. You may find you are not drawn to social activities, but rather to more spiritual and contemplative environments. Think of this as a completion of a cycle, a period to watch how matters come to closure by themselves without much effort on your part. Your Publications contributions have brought the completion that is occurring now.

Take advantage of your desires to relax and enjoy a break from the norm. Rest, recuperate and rejuvenate!

August 2004

The rest and reflection of July prepared us for August, the month of power and manifestation. The summer’s “slow down” tendency lingers with us this month, so utilize this last “time-out” period to get things in order before September starts us on a new energetic swing. Spend this slack time squaring off your financial matters and formulate ideas to make your life what you want it to be. Focus on your purpose on this planet and define your approach to creating fulfillment. Evaluate what movement will lead you deeper toward the inner spiritual power that grows with delivering and living your soul’s desire.

Defend your purpose with passion, and make it happen!

Since 8 represents karma and successful monetary outcome, your deserving material recognition for long-range past efforts is on its way! Think “tangible results” and watch your positive karma reap its rewards.

Let’s calculate the 8th month plus our current year 2004: 8+2+0+0+4 = 14, and 1+4 = 5. The combined vibration of August 2004 represents rebirth and regeneration (14), a time to renew our faith in ourselves and in our paths. The opportunity for reflection last month led us to direction and movement (5) this month. Change and newness are common themes now; surely on the political front we will hear about this repeatedly in the upcoming weeks!

Use your drive, ambition and revived energy for new accomplishments, remembering to connect to your gentle inner power. Leave any forcefulness “ego power” behind for it represents a false sense of control.

September 2004

Welcome to Fall!

Although it still feels like summer, we will soon enter autumn. The leaves will be turning and ending their cycle, the summer will be coming to a close, and the days will be getting shorter. This 9th month is a time of endings, integrity, and service to others as we learn to let go of the superficial.

Since September creates change and transition, you may find yourself emotional due to a sense of loss and separation. For some, less sunshine and the loss of leaves can be a depressing time. View this period as a liberating time to release obstacles and those no-longer-useful associations and situations. Finish those projects near completion. Let go of partially abandoned relationships that no longer serve you. It is preferable to refrain from starting anything new since the 9 vibration of closure will have a strong influence and may cause a quick ending to come about. Take a vacation or go on a retreat to let go of your daily life for a while.

Integrity is critical to inner peace. Listen to yourself, act accordingly and be truthful to all, including “yours truly”. If you find yourself in the midst of facades or games, now is the time to end such situations, to be open and honest.

In 2004, we see September as a 15/6 (9+2+0+0+4), which can possibly bring some chaos (15) into our lives, from which we find light. Remember that chaotic motion often results in change, movement and impetus to find a better way. The 6 reminds us to be there for friends, to listen, to nurture and to heal. Thus, current relationships can become stronger and longer-lasting during September. Since 9 represents community service and an awareness of how to make our existence better for all, you may feel charitable or feel a desire to assist in other people’s welfare. So give to others in thanks for what you have received.

September is a wonderful time to stop holding on to the past and to prepare for a move forward. Use this month to gladly release and separate yourself from whatever may be holding you back, and you will be ready for October, a month of new beginnings.

Blessings during this peaceful time.

October 2004

Welcome to October!

This 10th month signifies the end of a cycle in order to make room for good fortune and new beginnings. Your past efforts are coming to fruition now. It is time to enjoy your success earned by your hard work.

Since the 10 reduces to a 1 (1+0=1), you may find yourself standing alone or a need to make decisions by yourself. This independence allows space for your innovative ideas to flow. Open yourself optimistically to fresh new starts that occur this month. Any apparently synchronistic events are actually a culmination of your  expended energies. Let opportunities flow toward you!

Progress and advancement are characteristic of the 10, as is the ability to win the wheel of fortune. In October, you may find yourself lucky in lotteries, drawings, or perhaps receive an inheritance. (Remember, everyone has the same amount of luck you do right now, since all of you are currently in the 10th month, so please don’t get carried away in this regard!) Your good fortune will arrive based on the culmination of your past efforts.

The wheel of fortune can bring different types of fortunes, so keep your energy positive. Listen to your intuition; use this time to expand your ability to connect with your higher self. The 10 of October plus the 6 of the year 2004 equal 16, which reduces to 7. October of 2004 specifically represents breakthrough through breakdown. If you are experiencing any losses, it is time for you to pay attention. Evaluate your life and your actions to see where you are heading. If necessary, make adjustments to change your course. The 7 vibration is reminding you to connect with the beyond and your true self, to take the time to listen and learn. Be in nature, enjoy the fall colors, and meditate as a form of welcoming in all that is waiting for you.

Bright autumn leaves and roasted chestnuts!

November 2004

Welcome to our only master number month in our calendar year. Appropriate for a month of elections, this vibration brings lessons and challenges that require decision-making while applying a patient and tolerant approach rather than impulsive actions. Ponder your circumstances with great care and bring in a new, fresh attitude in order to create more desirable results in the future. During this stimulating time, channel your intensity and you can accomplish more than usual. Take advantage of your energy spurt, weigh and analyze situations, and route your energy toward a worthwhile goal.

11 reduces to 2, which involves continuation of any projects that have been started, while the two 1s in the 11 signify new beginnings. The candidates’ campaign efforts will continue until the voting polls close and organizations are proclaiming to continue the drive for change after the elections have taken place. This is the time to welcome new views and attitudes into our society. Any projects involving negotiation will likely come to a settlement this month since mediation is also a vibration of the 2.

11 represents the ability to work with energy toward a humanitarian purpose, inspired by light and spirit. Think positive for the good of all and move light energy where you want it to be, where it may be lacking. Expand your intuitive abilities and connect with your angels, allowing or requesting them to help you. Let spirit work through you to express your creative potential. Surround yourself with art, music, and culture.

11 plus this year’s number 2+0+0+4=6 results in 17, which reduces to 8. Thanks to the 17 significance of spirit working through each of us, a stronger connection with a higher power beyond and within, and more attention to intuition, voters connecting to this vibration will be more likely to vote for the best solution for all humankind on earth. The 8 expresses the desire for power which will surely come into play this month.

The key lesson to this month’s vibration concerns balance: Overcome errors of the past, eliminate mistaken thoughts, and communicate through cooperation and love. If we eliminate the toxins in our lives, we create balance by clearing the way for a new, optimistic future.

Please vote consciously, carefully, and with great consideration on Tuesday, November 2nd, 2004!

Let the new beginnings arrive!

December 2004

Welcome to the month of transition into winter. To most of us in California, we have been feeling the cold all week!

The number 12 represents delays and taking the time to ponder where you are heading and how you are getting there. When it is cold outside, what a great time to cuddle up in your warm home and appreciate what you have. Bring conflicts and opposites into perspective and find the harmony that does exist (the 2 in the 12). You may find you have a change of view or a reversal in your thought process brought on by this pause in life and by fresh observations. Acceptance and a sympathetic tone help to find serenity.

This month of many holidays is a time to rest, reflect, listen, and stop yourself from that usual tendency to “plow ahead”. Take caution when trying to do too much. It is so easy to get caught up in the festivities, gifts, meals, travels, and whatever else you have in mind and to forget yourself. Take the time to adjust to this slower month, or situations may occur that will require that you slow down or that will cause delays in completion. I often see people’s backs go out in December, especially when they have loads of obligations on their plates. Refrain from stacking the tasks higher and higher until they topple. Instead, arrange and plan in a simpler manner and enjoy many relaxing moments.

This month is also an 18/9 (12 + 2+0+0+4 = 18; 1+8=9). This vibration encourages you to pay attention to your dreams, to realize the ebb and flow of life, and to enjoy the softness of the moon. The assertiveness and high tension you see during this time of year stems from the masculine side. Utilize the dreamy, feminine nature of this December to melt stress away. As the end of the year approaches, how appropriate that this month reduces to a 9, representing closure, completion, and letting go. Release the everyday activities and bring in gentle recreation that helps you ponder the positive of 2004, and prepare yourself for 2005 and the newness of January’s 1 vibration, a time for new beginnings.

Wishing you happy holidays and a joyous, lively, and fulfilling 2005!

January 2005

Happy New Year, One and All!

Welcome to 2005, a year of changes, success following challenges, and a time of continuing to foster cooperation and balance that came with the new millennium.

Using the mind, perseverance, and a step-by-step attitude will help to accomplish goals. You may find yourself more interested than usual in studying and expanding your knowledge. If you feel more philosophical and analytical this year, follow that urge to socialize and discuss politics or go for that long walk in the woods to review your philosophy on life. Travel will definitely be popular this year to learn from the diversity the world has to offer and to become more aware of the person inside. I am expecting to see restlessness this year, a behavior that will bring movement to any areas that has been stagnant for some time. Some may feel overwhelmed by all the external activity and may choose to spend time alone in a quiet spot and meditate in order to stay grounded, listen to their intuition, and make quality decisions by listening within.

This January you can expect the usual new beginnings that come with the number 1. So manifest those resolutions, take some risks, and try something new and unusual. This is a great month to get a handle on your life and lead it in the direction you desire. Explore and enjoy new discoveries. Hopefully you have had a chance to rest during the past month and are ready to move forward and welcome the upcoming changes!

Bright blessings and warmth to all.

February 2005

Welcome to February 2005, a month for patience, assimilation, and finding balance.

Since 2 can represent opposing forces, don’t be surprised if you continue to see contrasts in weather around the country. If a feeling of frustration exists when trying to accomplish new goals, remember that this month is a gestation period: Wait for growth and for fluctuations to become settled. Let circumstances work themselves out. Keep your relationships running smoothly by encouraging cooperation and equality and applying diplomacy. Listen to what is going on, reflect on current situations, and represent peace and understanding to bring about a coming together among people. Be prepared for potential confrontations (those opposing views) and apply tact and consideration to create a sense of equilibrium and cooperation.

The decision-making aspect of the 2 along with seeing opposite opinions may create scenarios for some challenging choices. Again, take your time and be receptive. If you can put off any difficult decisions until March, you may find that more comfortable. Let your seeds of creativity sprout during February and you will find that answers come more easily with time.

Combined with the year (2 + 2+0+0+5 = 9), we find this February to be a good month for change and transition. Use this assimilation month to eliminate whatever no longer serves you, (the 9 represents closure and endings). If you are experiencing reluctance or sadness regarding the letting go of obstacles, this period will help you deal with them. Take a trip away from it all to separate yourself from the emotions revolving around the endings. The clearing of the useless can include items in your home, garage or storage area, or jobs, etc. Since we are in a 2 month (relationships), this cleaning out process can involve friends or friendships and/or romantic relationships that aren’t working for you any longer.

Projects may come to a close, since the 9 brings completion. Look forward to the new opportunities that can come into your life once you release the past and finish the current cycle.

Valentine’s Day this year (2 + 1+4 + 2+0+0+5 = 23; 2+3 = 5) will bring a change to relationships. Freedom and integrity will be top issues in current romances. Be open to shifts and changes in perspective to keep relationships alive and fresh. Celebrating the day by doing something new and exciting would be consistent with this vibration.

Be grateful for this clearing out period (like “spring cleaning”) and look favorably to the wonderful new experiences awaiting you around the bend!

March 2005

Spring is fast approaching. As the fruit trees blossom, the daffodils sprout, and the birds sing more frequently, they are representing the self-expression of March, our third month. Welcome to the time of month for showing your colors, your beauty, and your true self. Freedom is important now; it is not a time for demanding structure (remember how spring fever feels!). Creative arts, socializing, enjoying quality entertainment, and travel are areas that will probably appeal to you during this period. If you have nice weather, getting out and moving your body would feel good.

This year, March is a 10/1 (3 + 2+0+0+5 = 10, 1+0 = 1). Although we just had a 1 month in January, we are right away experiencing another new beginnings month creating opportunities to step out and take some calculated risks. Knowledge from the past supports any new efforts. This March can fulfill accomplishments based on past energy expended. Clarity comes in, revealing greater understanding of past events.

If you have spring weather already, enjoy the burst of nature! If spring hasn’t sprung yet where you are, create your own bouquet through the blossoming of yourself in whatever form that may be!

April 2005

Welcome to a budding time!

We have entered the month of the heart, April, number 4. The heart chakra prevails now, so you may find yourself paying more attention to your feelings and emotions than usual. For some of you, it can cause your heart to open and allow someone new into your life.

Making plans for the rest of the year, getting organized after the potentially scattered month of March, and putting some form and boundaries into your life are typical foundation building exercises encouraged by the 4-sided box of structure. It may become necessary to deal with details and material matters during this period, which will set the stage for future experiences.

April is a month often chosen for weddings. Couples follow the heart-love-romance vibration of the 4 as they establish a foundation for the future.

This year, April is an 11 (4 + 2+0+0+5 = 11), not normally reduced to a 2, since it is a master number. Master numbers (two like digits in a double-digit number) can bring inspirational moments along with challenges in making decisions, choosing between different paths, and learning new life lessons. You may find yourself walking through new doorways this month, or new doors may open for you to ponder (look at the two ones as two pillars to walk through). The angelic realm plays a big role in the number 11, so ask your angels for your truest desires to fulfill your heart!

May 2005

The delay in getting this reading out to you represents this month perfectly! May, the 5th month and the year 2005 total 12, which brings delays, waiting periods, and challenges in getting things done. The 5 of the month itself creates a time of change, diversity, and new interests. The combination of these two vibrations, one of action and the other of rest, can create confusion. This is a time for study, learning about something new, travel, and overall mental growth and development, yet the 12 reminds us to stop and listen to what perhaps we have been missing. Travel to peaceful places such as the seashore or the countryside, and classes in meditation, stress reduction, and philosophy create an appropriate balance for this period.

Going with the flow is critical during this time, so let yourself be quiet and allow space for pondering your perspectives. After this month, you may see things differently and find a new approach. Communicate for greater understanding, and remember how important freedom is to you. If anyone makes rigid plans, they will probably be altered anyway. Remember, flexibility can be our greatest friend during times like these.

So, I will keep this short before something happens to delay this email delivery one more time!

May you experience wondrous changes and positive unexpected outcomes during this unusual month!

June 2005

This 6th month relates to family, thus June is a typical month for graduations, weddings, and family vacations. The nurturing aspect of the 6 is a reminder to take a break from work and spend time with loved-ones, to take care of yourself, and to allow for healing to take place.

When 6 is added to 2005, the result is 13, the number for transformation. Think of the butterfly developing and releasing itself from its cocoon. Perhaps you have seen butterflies this month: A positive omen!

This is an appropriate period for life-evaluation. Observe what portion(s) can be left behind to bring in new aspects, approaches, and refreshing viewpoints. Go through your closets and cupboards and get rid of what is no longer needed to allow space for positive upcoming changes. You can do this literally and figuratively! Welcome endings and closures to make room for new beginnings and the rejuvenation to follow next month.

July 2005

This 7th month brings a time of rest, quiet, and reflection. Vacations are popular this time of year, which fits July’s vibration of taking the time to recuperate and analyze your current situation: where you are, where you want to be, and how you would like to get there. If you feel philosophical and analytical, allow yourself the time and space to evaluate and ponder.

The number 7 also relates to health, so it’s a good time to rest and take care of physical problems. You may find yourself desiring peace and quiet away from the crowds. If so, spiritual spots in nature provide soothing, mind-opening environments for contemplation.

7 plus 2+0+0+5 (this year) equals 14, which reduces to a 5 (1+4=5). 14 represents rejuvenation, rebirth, and regeneration. In July 2005, the germination of ideas, creations, and art of any kind flow easily, while the mind expands and finds freedom (5).

I hope you enjoy this time of calm receptivity and the potential birth of new creative paths.

August 2005

According to the numbers, this 8th month is a time to reap what you have sown. Wherever you’ve worked hard, you will be rewarded on the material plane. Responsibility comes with recognition, so don’t be surprised if more is desired of you as a result. This is an appropriate time for planning and establishing foundations for businesses with a focus on practicality, efficiency, and organization.

Since 8 represents inner power, practices which help to strengthen or align yourself from the inside out are always beneficial. This may also be a time of karmic clearing.

When 8 is added to 2+0+0+5, the resulting 15/6 (1+5=6) can add chaos (15) to this month. If you feel a lack of control, it’s a gentle reminder that we are not in complete control of what happens around us since there are so many other factors affecting our world today. Keeping focus on manifesting what you deserve will help to counteract this force, along with appreciating all you have and remembering to nurture yourself (6). Friends may need you now more than ever. If everyone takes the time for themselves and for each other, a feeling of brotherhood and sisterhood will reign, and all will feel blessed.

September 2005

As autumn arrives, the leaves change color due to the cooler air and “fall” to the ground, and another seasonal cycle begins. Welcome to a time to drop the past and prepare for the new.

Since you are a part of nature, you also experience a “dying off” of the old this time of year, which for some brings sadness resulting from the loss of some daylight and green vegetation. You might even consider it a akin to the experience of menopause. 9, the highest of the single-digit numbers, signifies a greater awareness developed through our experiences, a connection that brings a sense of completion. This higher consciousness helps release whatever is no longer needed, bringing clarity to perceive such “losses” as blessings. Many women who grow with the menopausal experience refer to it as “the best thing that happened to them”.

Due to my extended vacation, this month’s reading comes to you later than usual. On my journey away from California, I found the less I planned, organized, prepared, or obliged myself, the more good fortune, blessings, beautiful people, and wonderful opportunities flowed to me. I trusted, I was calm, and I listened to my free-flowing intuition since I had removed the blocks. The abundance I received consistently rewarded this approach.

When you hold on to anything, be it a person, place, or thing, you create tension. Make a tight fist with your hand. How does that feel? Is energy flowing? Now open your hand and look at your relaxed palm. When you let go, you allow energy to flow to you, through you, and out of you. Now turn your palm outward to the world and say “hello”. This simple process, though seemingly challenging, can profoundly move you and the world to ever more positive heights.

September of 2005 sums up as 9 + 2005 = 16; 1+6=7. 16 can represent breakdown, or an event that forces you to look at your situation and do something about it, resulting in a breakthrough. These tend to require (or highly pressure you) to let go enough to allow spirit to enter with greater magnitude so that you can see the divine in yourself (7). This is where the clarity comes in.

I wish for you a welcome journey of completion and a positive process of “turning a new leaf”.

November 2005

I hope you all enjoyed Halloween. This holiday, one of our few remaining traditions, give us an opportunity to play a different role for a day and express another side of ourselves. Strangers talk to each other about costumes, children play make-believe, and neighborhoods communicate. And it's fun!

As we enter November, you will likely sense a high vibration that stimulates excitement, and may cause you to be impulsive. The sensitivity and response to this stimulus could be expressed artistically, or by attending theater or concerts, or by going out dancing. The 11 + 2005 = 18, which signifies listening to your dreams, may bring visions and revelations to you. These lead you forward to a new direction, allowing you to make important decisions that may be required due to possible unexpected events. Seek balance in your perspectives to clearly weigh your choices before deciding on your next route. Keep focus with your insight; let your intuition help you.

This is a cleansing time, so clear any regrets from the past that could create negative circumstances in the future. Settle any continuing disagreements to avoid future complications. Clearing out undesirable vibrations from Publications situations, followed by surrounding and/or expressing your creative energy from a higher place, will take you on a new path of discovery, accomplishment, and optimistic outlook. Utilize this period to prepare for the holidays coming up soon!

Wishing you a loving, nurturing Thanksgiving Day on the 24th.

Happy Holidays!

Tis the season to be merry and to continue our thankfulness encouraged at Thanksgiving. This twelfth month, a time for sitting back and re-evaluating, is often spent in hectic mode, filled with activities related to various holiday celebrations. Relaxed recreation time with loved ones is often replaced by pressured priorities to cook, buy, and work to create big productions that manifest busy schedules and stressful deadlines.

Some simplifying holiday ideas that help spare the congestion on roads, in parking lots and in stores, and protect your stress level, are:

- Suggest potluck celebrations; share the opportunity to contribute.
- Donate to your loved one’s favorite non-profit organization as a gift.
- Give a dinner invitation, with your accompaniment or not, at a favorite restaurant. This encourages more quality social time in the future.
- Gift certificates to spas or retreats are always welcome.
- Use online mail order programs for a nurturing/nourishing delivery of fruits, plants, and flowers to your friends and family.
- Think outside of the box to allow you more time to enjoy the holidays!

I tend to regard Christmas Day as the day to look over my year, to contemplate on all it has brought me, and to visualize how I wish my next year to unfold. It is a pensive, reflective time that encourages me to perform a ritual of gratitude and manifestation. After all, the date represents a birth, whether or not you celebrate the holiday religiously.

In December, conclude any unfinished projects to prepare for the new beginnings coming in before the year is up. Make room for the newness that is right around the corner.

Wishing you a marvelous, happy, and fulfilling 2006. Sending many blessings and good fortune with your New Years Resolutions!!!

The Year 2006

Welcome to a New Year!

Once again we come full circle on the 12-month spiral to the beginning of a new numerological year. Still being in the 2 of the 2000s, we continue to improve our relationships with others, find patience when we want immediate results, develop cooperation in dealing with others, and create balance and harmony in our lives. The 6 brings unconditional love, light, and compassion to the world, a healing of ourselves and others, teaching what we know to share with the world, and the sentiment of family and fairness.

Interestingly, January 29 starts the Chinese Lunar Year of the Fire Dog, a year of compassion, openheartedness, and positive attitude in which teamwork will pay off. Dog Years compel us to love others fully, even through adversity, as the dog symbolizes loyalty. This year, in particular, the two divination systems are in complete synchronicity.

The 8 of the 2+0+0+6 is a time for manifesting your destiny. Whatever you have been wanting to do with your life, this is the time to do it! Find your inner power and apply it toward making your dreams happen. Financial rewards are also waiting; you will receive what you deserve. Hard work will bring success. If unusual events occur, realize that this is a karmic year. Connections and paths can bring life-changing results. Be open, with discrimination, to new opportunities and people coming into your life.

May the 6 vibration of white light and unconditional love shine on the world and help to move all people on the planet toward a place of peace and harmony. Namaste.

January 2006

January 2006 is the 1st month, and also carries the number 9 from 2+0+0+6 +1 = 9. January can be a time of solitude, time away from the crowds, hustle, and bustle that was experienced in December. Often an active time, complete with new year’s resolutions, this time around you may find yourself wanting more reflection time and/or independence from what goes on around you. Reviewing your past and looking at how to make the future more you is a theme for this year.

The 1 brings new beginnings, a time to perhaps choose a new path. Learn to think for yourself, using your powers within, and set goals for your “new” life. Let your individuality flow. This does not mean to be stubborn, impulsive, or headstrong regardless of the consequences. Remember, this is a time to plan, channel your energies, contemplate, and determine your direction. Research, experiment, explore, and take calculated risks. Your courage will allow you to take action on your decisions.

The 9 of this particular month in 2006 is a time of closure. Next month will be another 1, so the new beginnings of January will likely continue through February. Finish off any projects you have going so that you can take on new opportunities. Remember your integrity, and look for integrity in others and in business deals.

It’s always interesting when we experience an ending number (9) with a beginning number (1). They combine to create more powerful transitions: The letting go of the past and what is no longer needed to make room for the fresh new outlooks and events that bring transformation and forward movement. Lots of change is in store, so prepare yourself!

February 2006

February is the follow-up month, a time to continue whatever was started in January. Since the first month was a time of thought and preparation for new directions, February, a 2, is a time to continue on that path and keep the momentum going. Use your cooperation skills, assimilate your experiences of the past, and allow for the gestation of your efforts. Keep caution and tactfulness in mind in your dealings with others. Patience, consideration, and receptivity will help you in all matters. Decisions may be required and you may find yourself in a position of mediation between parties. All of these skills will be helpful to you at this time.

This month is a 10/1 (2+0+0+6+2 = 10, 1+0=1).
You will be experiencing a continuation of new perspectives, outlooks, opportunities, and directions.

For your creative side, February is a time to plant the seeds to begin a process of growth and expansion. Reflect on your inner being in preparation for self-expression in March, the 3 month.

Enjoy your time of bud development, awaiting your blossoming next month!

March 2006

March, the 3rd month of the year brings creativity, self-expression, and blossoming experiences, brought in by the angelic and inspirational energy of the angelic realm of 11: 2006 + 3 = 11. This can be a time of new beginnings, of walking through a portal (the two posts of the two ones) to a new phase. I know many of you found this to be a time of new challenges and/or adventures in your life. This has certainly fit my move to the Big Island!

April 2006

April, the 4th month, represents the heart, love, orderly preparation, and foundation building for the future. This year, April brings in the 12/3 energies: 2006 + 4 = 12, 1+2 = 3. This is a lovely spring time for developing long-lasting relationships. After the creative expansion of March, this expansion continues in this 12/3 month, with an added sense of structure and organization.

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself getting slowed down or detained in your plans. If consciously applied, the freedom of the 3 and the organization of the 4 can serve as a balance. The numbers of this month include 1, 2, 3, and 4. So lots of progression in whatever you are manifesting. New beginnings, and the ability to continue what you started with the help of patience and cooperation, including a freedom to express yourself fully, all with love and a strong foundation. Whatever delays might occur, they will only help you to accomplish the final goal with greater success as you will see it all more clearly during the “slow” times.

Wishing you a spring of blossoms, bright color, and warm, nurturing temperatures!

May 2006

In May you may see some endings and changes that allow for transformation. Like the butterfly who must leave the life of the caterpillar in order to fly, we too must incur closures to make space for new growth. This is the numerological 13 of the 5th month in 2006 (5 + 2+0+0+6). The 5 of this month brings changes that require flexibility. The urge to study new things can arise, so travel, new experiences, and intellectual and creative stimulation would be typical interests during this month. The 1 + 3 of the 13 equals 4, a time to listen to the heart. May 2006 is a great time to feel your greatest desires and let your life evolve to move you forward into a new realm.

June 2006

In June, 6 + 2+0+0+6 = 14/5, so we enter into a month of rejuvenation and revitalization. It can also be a time of new or rekindled romance (1 = new beginnings, 4 = love and the heart; remember that February 14th is Valentine’s Day). The 5 again, as in May, brings newness and variation to life. Two months in a row with a 5 vibration can feel a bit disruptive or unstable, however both of these months this year also hold the 4 vibration, representing stable foundations. As a result, these two subsequent months encourage finding a balance between structure and flexibility, stability and freedom, the heart and the mind, home life and travel, and settling down and being thrown into a new arena. Balance is always important, so use the energy of this time to improve your lifestyle in whatever ways you desire.

These two months are causing a reshuffling of all sorts of things inside and around us. Let the “shaking” happen and you may experience a sense of rebirth and joy at how life has shifted from the old into the new, bringing in new opportunities and avenues. It’s a time for huge life changes…so go for it! Now is the time!

Wishing you new paths lined with fragrant blossoms of brilliant color!

July 2006

This month of July, a 7, is a time for reflection, peace, rest, and focusing on your health. Vacations are common now because it’s a time to be quiet and receptive. The active, runaround type of holiday is inappropriate for this vibration, as is “pushing” regarding your projects, relationships, business(es), or financial affairs. One thing that the islands teach us is that life will flow FOR us if we let it. Pushing just disturbs the natural flow of positive energy already coming your way. Listen to your urge to rest. Not following these messages can lead to physical problems and frustration.

Numerologically, July of this year comes out to 7 + 2+0+0+6 = 15/6. These numbers signify changes in lifestyle that allow for freer self-expression. It’s time to let go of old views that might include fears that are only holding you back. Look at your life, your feelings, your viewpoints. This is an important time to look beneath the surface to see the truth below. Discern which directions set you free, and which bind you. Stay away from commitments that hold you down. And avoid overworking yourself…see your intentions clearly and prioritize carefully.

Remember that laughter is a vital human necessity that cleanses the soul and heals in amazing ways! Relax and take it all in with clarity. Then make your decisions in a calm, knowing way that brings you freedom. And enjoy it!

August 2006

August 2006 is a time to take action. No more pussy-footing around. Although this tends to be vacation time for many (in fact, much of Europe doesn’t work this month), don’t be surprised if you are driven to be active and make some waves. We are coming out of a long preparation time in which you may have experienced shifts within yourself or in the world itself. Now comes the next step: to utilize those changes to the max.

Numerologically, August, the 8th month, is for using your skills to manifest your dreams and desires. It is a successful period, in which, if you apply yourself, you will reap rewards and see the outcome of your hard work. Use your inner power, which is opening up, to create what you want.

Remember, this is not about pushing or about external ego power. This is about focusing on your intention, getting your word out there, envisioning your goals, and making sure your actions are synchronistic with your objectives.

August’s calculation for this year is 8 + 2+0+0+6 = 16/7. The 16 relates to the tower card in the tarot deck, in which breakthroughs happen as a result of breakdowns. The power that is ready to manifest itself at this time arises from the crumbling and letting go of past negativity and obstacles. Listen to your intuition, the 7, regarding the steps to take, the route to follow, and your direction of focus. Again, acting upon the information gained through your intuition will bring you the results you want.

Go for the gusto, and make it happen! Now is the time!

September 2006

September 2006 puts us in a 17/8 numeric vibration (9 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 6 = 17; 1+7 = 8). The beauty of this vibration is in the optimism and uplifting outcomes that accompany it.

8 represents financial success, and this month brings you just that. Good fortune in the forms of assistance, money, gifts, or promotions are possible. Intellectual and leadership achievements are rewarded under these numbers.

If you travel, it will likely be by sea or air. Health issues improve, resulting in good health. Positive attitude and deep hopes will manifest your desires.

Any help you receive during this month supports your dreams. Use determination to overcome your obstacles. Your mind is more energetic now, and taps into the unconscious to help you solve problems. Meditate: allow your intuition and creativity to help dormant ideas emerge into rays of understanding. If you are seeking answers or trying to unveil secrets, they will be revealed to you this month.

Remember that all numerological vibrations can work both ways. Allowing doubts to creep into your mind can bring on depression and pessimism. Beneath the superficial and daily irritations lies the person within, the true “I am”. Seek the truth within yourself. Ask questions with calm expectancy for the true, helpful answer. Remember it is the positive thought that manifests the positive outcome.

Many blessings during this time of illumination and “imua!” (moving forward)!

October 2006

October is a true “autumn” month. The days are shorter, the temperature changes, and we begin the process of resting and hibernating during the cooler months just as the trees and animals do.

October 2006 is an 18/9 numeric vibration (10 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 6 = 18; 1+8 = 9). This is a grand time of completion and closure of what you manifested in September. You may be experiencing ebbs and flows, since 18 represents the moon controlling the tides on our mother earth. Listen to your dreams, for they have much to tell you regarding your thoughts, desires, fears, and innermost strengths. Pay attention to your feminine side, as this is the month for it to be expressed.

The 10 of October represents new beginnings. The endings and letting go of the 9 make room for fresh starts. The 10 can also bring in ups and downs, which vibrate in a similar way to the ebbs and flows of the 18. Go with the flow! It is critical now. Make sure you let go of all that no longer matches who you are and who you are becoming. This includes material things, emotions, thought processes, belief systems, hang-ups, patterns, people, and ways of life. Remember, it is never too late to make changes, and it’s never too early to start! Let yourself glide into what is true for you. The trees know how to shed their leaves in preparation for their sumptuous chartreuse buds to sprout in the spring. Think of how beautiful is a fruit tree in full bloom, without its leaves to distract. This is what we are all capable of. We are all of the same source. Shed those leaves to allow space for the splendor to flourish!

November 2006

Here we are in November, nearing the end of the 2006 calendar year. The endings can be let go, like the brown leaves on a tree, to give room for a new beginnings.

The 11 of November represents bold new leaps. The 1 is magnified since it shows up twice in this number. There is a stability and centeredness in the number one: the vertical line reaches from the heavens down to the earth, standing up strong. This month, march off in a stronger manner. Listen to your intuition and deep knowing, then move forward without barriers or hindrances. Any inconveniences are minor or unimportant at this time.

Make choices on your path from a place of higher consciousness, and all obstacles will disappear. Keep your spirits high, reaching for the most and the best.

Adding up the numbers for November this year: 11 +2+0+0+6 =19, 1+9 =10, 1+0=1. Numerologically we would call this a 19/10/1 month, revealing even more ones. The 9 refers to completions and letting go, so finish off what you started and release what you no longer need and get on with your life. The 0 brings in an extra powerful feeling of being protected, providing greater security and safety in the new adventures to come. So go for it with gusto, taking advantage of this assertive time!!!

December 2006

Happy Holidays!

Mele Kalikimaka! (Hawaiian for Merry Christmas, in which the Hawaiian words are based on Hawaiian pronunciation of the English words.)

I hope you all had a gracious Thanksgiving and are enjoying the festivities of this holiday season.

As always, the 12th month is for rest and contemplation. Caution regarding over-committing and wanting to make every detail perfect. This time of year is for sharing, including the load!

This year, December’s vibration is a 20/2 (2+0+0+6=8, 8+12=20, 2+0=2). Choosing between options and alternative paths is a common decision-making activity in a 20/2 period. Any changes now can be brought on by outside events requiring that you react and take on a new direction. As always, thoroughly weigh and measure all situations, including current ones. You have the potential now to make a turning point that will have an impact on your life. You can use this stimulating energy to grow, realize your future, and make plans that have great power to manifest.

If you don’t like change or making decisions, this month’s vibration may make you feel uneasy. As best as you can, welcome the shifts, be flexible, and act with common sense and confidence. This will provide the backbone for making any transitions suitable for you and your life at this time. Contemplate with reason and then move forward.

This is all an appropriate preparation for January, a 1, which is a great time to start new projects. The 2 encourages cooperation and harmony, two wonderful attributes to experience during the holidays and with which to view new and exciting journeys awaiting you. Enjoy the up-and-coming, and may you thrive in your new routes of discovery!

The Year 2007

Happy New Year! Hau‘oli Makahiki Hou!

We are now beginning a year of consciousness. Under the 2+0+0+7=9 vibration, we experience the continued focus on cooperative relationships, balance in life, and patience (the 2). Add to that the spiritual attention of the 7 and its emphasis on being in nature, meditating, and going within to find the divine, and we should see some real shifts in each person on the planet. As long as people are willing to take the time for quiet reflection, personal peace should increase, emanating that positive energy to the earth and its inhabitants. Remember, each of us has the power to change ourselves, which then reverberates outward, affecting the intricate web of interconnectivity that touches all things.

The 9 for the year culminates our passage up the chain of numbers in this decade (9 being the highest single digit, representing the highest evolution). Combined with the depth of the 7, the 9 brings all that inner work to a place of higher awareness. More clarity regarding the “Big Picture” will prevail along with realizations of what we can do to make this world a more humane, loving, touching, and heavenly home. 9 is also the number for endings, which usually involve some form of letting go. Focus on closures and completions of your projects and any loose ends. Release any and all parts of you and your life that are holding you back, causing you pain and misery, and negatively affecting your health. This is a great year to contemplate how you can find your God/Goddess-self and the peaceful inner power that accompanies this truth within each of us. Use your brilliant inner light to reach out and touch others and create a positive realm.

Wishing you joy, peace, blessings, and miracles this year and always!

January, which is already a 1 vibration in itself, turns out to be a 1 as well in 2007 (1+ 2+0+0+7=10; 1+0=1). Each month this year will be running under the same influence as its own number (February will be a 2, March a 3, and so one). This enhances the power of the month’s number. This January, use that 1 to start new projects, endeavors, businesses, relationships, artistic works, etc. It’s a time for risk taking (calculated, of course). Get out there and do something you always wanted to do but haven’t yet…and take the lead in adding awareness to our world. Use the forward impetus of this month to get moving and creating what you want to create.

February 2007

As mentioned last month, this year all the months will carry their own vibration, with added energy from the derived calculations. February 2007, is an 11/2 (2 + 2+0+0+7=10; 1+1=2). The 2 represents finding balance in life, building cooperative and harmonious relationships, and developing partnership skills. As always, Valentines Day is situated in the perfect month! The 11 of this year's February enhances the power of the angelic realm in daily life. Hopefully you have been trusting in your angels' assistance, requesting help whenever needed. Improving interactions with each other may have been a key focus this month. Decision-making based on inspirational guidance took extra priority during this time and you may have felt required to follow this path.

March 2007

March is a 12/3 this year (3 + 2+0+0+7=12; 1+2=3), a period for contemplation prior to setting yourself free. Allow time for being still so you can re-examine your life situation. A creative time for self-expression from the depths of your soul, March is well-suited for doing so AFTER stepping out of your busy day-to-day schedule so that you can see clearly. Wise decisions bring growth opportunities when based on a clear vision and sight of a path towards manifesting that vision. If you feel that life is creating obstacles to your forward movement, they are reminders to pause and reflect prior to proceeding. In a 12 vibration, trying to plow through no matter what will usually result in more dead-ends. Use the delays to your advantage. Often the goal is just beyond the door in front of you, if you let yourself be led through the door rather than try to bust it open. Follow the natural flow of the stream for it leads you to the broad, abundant sea.

April 2007

April 2007 = 4 + 2+0+0+7 = 13; 1 + 3 = 4.

13 is the powerful number for transformation through endings to move forward on a new path. The butterfly is always a perfect metaphor for the departure from what is no longer needed thanks to preparation and inner workings (the cocoon), followed by the release into a new life of freedom, lightness, and discovery (that of the lovely-hued butterfly). The willingness to let go of all that is complete and no longer needed allows for a strong transition to the new, which will flow rapidly in May.

The 4 (sum of all the numbers of April 2007 in addition to the month of April itself—a double whammy) reminds us that transformations are for, and come from, the heart. Love lives everywhere, deep inside each one of us, so focus on manifesting transitions for the good of all.

Been feeling these shifts? Then you understand. If not, perhaps this is not a time for some moving and shaking in your life. Even so, it could be helpful to check if there are any emotions creating a desire to hang on to the past. If so, releasing them can open the doorway for new opportunities coming in May.

May 2007

May 2007, 5 + 2+0+0+7 = 14; 1 + 4 = 5, is a regeneration (14) month. After the endings, release, and formation of a new self in April come blossoming and growth.

Picture your biggest dreams from the depths of you heart (4) and watch them materialize. The 1 of new beginnings brings new paths and opportunities. Listen clearly to your heart (4) so you might manifest what you truly desire, for whatever you visualize will be created for you by the universe. Change (5) will occur repeatedly this month, so be flexible and live in the flow. 5 also refers to the power of the mind, so use it to your benefit. Your thoughts can create the change you want as long as they are focused on your desires.

Remember that pushing creates resistance, or blockage, which prevents movement. Use your mind, not force, to create your wishes. Think of how a spring seedling in the ground focuses its direction only on the light shining on the earth. That intent along with its resources for nurturing generates the power to poke a leaf and stem through the earth and create a new plant. Plants don't wonder if they are going to grow or doubt that they have the ability, they simply hone all their intent on growth and regeneration.

Good fortune and many blessings on this path of rebirthing your life and you!

June 2007

We just went through two transitional months, April and May of 2007. Now we come to a month of more change with a focus on light, laughter, and freedom.

6 + 2+0+0+7 = 15; 1+5=6. June this year carries the vibration of the 6 twice, so light, love, and healing glow at this time. Laugh at your own weaknesses, accept the frailties of others, and look for peaceful and satisfying solutions. Once we can “lighten up” about ourselves and our situation, then we can see the “light” of the truth that lies within, or perhaps underneath, the apparent situation.

The 5 in the 15 brings changes to lifestyles as a result of new opportunities (the 1) entering the picture. Radical movement from the old ways can free you from current limitations. You may find yourself letting go of old belief systems in order to establish new ones. Decisions made during the “shedding of old skin” are to enable freeness of self-expression. Notice changes you have been longing for and allow them to become your next route!

Sending you all bright sparkles of laughter.

July 2007

Welcome to the middle of summer and our 7th month: July. As applies for all the months this year, July holds the same number during our current year as well: 7 + (this year) 2+0+0+7 = 16; 1+6=7. The number 7 refers to rest, being in nature, and physical or mental travel, all common during this vacation time of year, which fits this pensive and quiet vibration. It is a period for going within and connecting spiritually, which some people do through hikes, outdoor water activities, or biking, while others may be headed for a peaceful retreat in a restorative natural environment.

The number 16 relates to the Tower card in the Tarot (for those of you who know the cards). It represents breakthrough through breakdown. This can manifest in a variety of ways. It can seem that life is hard in some way, that something has happened to make life difficult to the point where depression or frustration can occur. As many of you know, once you hit bottom, often all the Publications negativity comes pouring out, which allows space for clarity to come in. Thus, when we might feel that we are in a “no-win” situation, we are actually going through a process whereby we hit a wall on a direction that is not serving us, and forces us to take a look at what we are doing or what is not working right. Sometimes this can come in the form of a traumatic event that changes our lives. Remember, if you are listening to your intuition and following your higher guidance (the 7), a big force like this will not be necessary! It’s mostly for those who need to learn fast, or who are on a path wherein quick change is critical to survival, or those who chose a life of very fast evolution.

The 6 in the 16 represents healing, while the 1 prior to it represents “of the self”. Focus on whatever reparation, rejuvenation, and/or healing of any kind that needs attention. It is always important to self-nurture and take care of yourself; now you may feel a stronger force telling you to do this imminently. So pay attention and go within!

Bright blessings to one and all.

August’s vibration this year is 8 + 2+0+0+7 = 17; 1+7=8. As with all the months in 2007, August resonates the same as its usual value: 8. Add 17 to this vibration, and the result was a good month for travel, health improvements, and a more positive attitude in general. (Remember, whenever one dwells in the negative, these positive developments can take a back seat!) Typically a vacation time, this August was ripe for using intuitive and creative powers to solve problems and overcome obstacles. Quiet time in meditation shed light for greater understanding in any regard.

September hums at 9 + 2+0+0+7 = 18; 1+8=9. 18 represents the moon and its ebb and flow and feminine energy. A softer time, focus on rest and self-care and fluidity. Calm the mind to heal the body. New ideas and plans are germinating to blossom in October. Best to get your life in order this month: organizing , cleaning, straightening. This is a great time to clear out those drawers and closets that have been unruly in order to bring some positive feng-shui energy into your life. Order and simplicity now will prepare you for, and allow space for, expansion of your dreams and visions in the very near future. Since 9 resonates with letting go, making a difference, and integrity; use quiet time to listen to your true self, remember what you are here for, then let your mental pictures lead you to answers and the fulfillment of your needs.

October 2007

Autumn is a time when leaves fall off of trees (at least for those of you on the continent!) as the old is released to prepare for the new in the spring. Us human beings are doing the same; we had a letting-go September to prepare for new beginnings in October, a much shorter cycle!

In my September reading, it showed to be a month to get your life in order: organizing, cleaning, straightening; clear out the unruly to bring in positive energy, expansion of dreams and visions, letting go of stuff to support personal integrity and listening to your true self. Clients who called in September were making huge life changing decisions involving letting go of long-held valuables, habitual behavior patterns, emotions held from the past, or moving to new areas. The vibrations of the months are becoming so strong that there is no way to ignore them any longer.

I am also know many people (and more keep coming into my life) who are going through major health issues that cannot be ignored. This is all part of the “cleaning house” process in order to get to the core of who we are that many of you have been experiencing.  Ultimate freedom is at the end of all this. Trust in that.

October’s vibration this year is 10 + 2+0+0+7 = 19; 1+9=10, 1+0=1. As with all the months in 2007, October this year resonates at its usual value of 10.

The 19 brings in the sun’s resonance, shining bright light and growth power on all of us. Bask in the vibration’s warmth and let it bring inner strength into your third chakra, the solar plexus. That’s where the sun shines in our ethereal bodies; where our true self and who we can be resides. So fill it up to tank up your energy for what is coming. To carry on from September, we’ve got another 9 to remind us to continue to let go of our losses from last month and let go even more this month to make room for the newness coming in October.

The 10 includes applying all knowledge from the past as guidance and support in the present moment. Your knowing, your higher self’s wisdom and your intuition operate with the past’s lessons in tow. Listen to these carefully to be fully equipped for the new changes in life. The digits of the 10 are graphically representing the link between heaven and earth (the vertical 1 is like a lifeline between heaven and earth) and the flow of information from above (the center of the 0 is like a pipe or funnel through which energy, knowledge, and love can flow).

The 1 represents starting new, beginning all over again. A fabulous opportunity for life shifts! Standing on your own beliefs, your own internal knowing, choose what is right for the real you, follow your true calling. Believe in yourself and in your own personal link to the beyond for guidance. Do whatever it takes to access and live who you know yourself to be.

November 2007

Since this is a 9 year (2+0+0+7=9), closures and endings are reaching their final stages. It is truly a time for letting go and releasing all that has finished serving its purpose in order to move on to the newness that next year will bring (2+0+0+8=10; 1+0=1). 2008 will be a year of long-lasting changes in a positive direction. Momentum towards an uplifting and major optimistic shift will come into play. This trend has already started, and will increase its power in 2008, and become even stronger in 2009. Join the movement and ride the flow to better times to help make your transitions even easier.

November 2007 is a 2 (11+2+0+0+7)=20; 2+0=2. The 11th month also totals 2 (1+1=2). The number 20 has its own unique significance, that of a time to choose between two directions. If you have multiple opportunities or paths in front of you, this month is a time to make some decisions toward what feels right. The double 1 of the 11 brings in new beginnings. This presents a transition from finalizing situations in the year 2007 to move toward new routes available to you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

December 2007

December takes us into the realm of cosmic consciousness, the 21. Tap into this huge awareness of all that exists and all that can be created in order to receive clarity and manifest the ultimate reality that your higher self envisions. The number 21, the reverse of the 12 for the 12th month, creates a combined accentuation of the 1 and the 2. Take calculated risks while growing internally and make healthy room for others in your life. In both November and December, patience, cooperation, and understanding both sides of every story are especially key in every relationship. Focus on harmony from within to encourage it on the outside. It is a time for coming together to overcome any obstacles or negativity. We learn from and gain a great deal through all relationships, so make the best out of each and every one of them.

Happy Holidays!

The Year 2008

I hope your holidays have been filled with harmony, joy, and peace to carry forward into the New Year.

We are not only welcoming in a new year; numerologically 2008 is specifically a year of new beginnings.
2+0+0+8 = 10 and 1+0 = 1. Last year, 2007 totaled 9, which was a year of endings, closures, completions,
and a time of letting go. Perhaps you felt that you released things of the past that were finished or
were burdens or just plain “old”. This was to free yourself to bring in the new of 2008.

The 1 energy brings in new opportunities of all kinds.
A good year for taking risks and setting out on unique journeys!
Experiment and create freshness in your life. Take classes and expand your knowledge.
It’s an exciting time to open yourself to wonderful surprises!

February 2008

This year, February is numerologically a 12/3 (2 + 2+0+0+8 = 12, 1+2 = 3).

It is always important to go through life expressing oneself, whether it be through writing, art, dancing, humor, meditation, or just being. This month you may feel a stronger desire to be expressive. Putting aside some logistical activities or delaying decisions for a bit may give you the time to honor a free release of your soul. You may find that by jumping on this opportunity to let your energies and emotions flow freely, afterwards all your decisions will be easier and logistics will fall into place thanks to the energy release and resulting increased clarity.

Give yourself the space to be who you need and want to be so you not only create with what is inside of you, you also alleviate any pressurized or trapped energy from within so that your life can flow.

If you feel that important activities are not getting accomplished, sit down and prioritize them from your heart, your higher self, and your inner knowing.

Many blessings on your journey!

March 2008

Get ready for some big transformations and transitions! This March heralds a strong period of change for the better. You may feel heavy challenges and/or create resistance to letting go of the old and familiar. During this month, it may seem you have no choice in the matter, so being flexible and seeing the bigger picture is highly advantageous.

I liken it to the butterfly morphing from the caterpillar. The beautiful winged insect must leave behind its crawling, furry body in order to obtain the beauty of iridescent wings and the freedom of flight. Think of yourself this month in this regard. It is time to shed that old dead snake skin so that the new shiny pattern waiting underneath can glow in the sun.

March 2008 is numerologically a 13/4 (3 + 2+0+0+8 = 13, 1+3 = 4). The number 13 instigates transformation. Many think of 13 as an unlucky number. In Pythagoras’ system, 13 does represent death, required in order for some kind of new beginning to follow. If you believe in reincarnation, then you would realize that one life needs to end before a separate one as a newborn baby can begin. In the Tarot deck, the Major Arcana XIII card is often titled “Death” as well. Remember that when dying occurs, it sets the stage for rebirth and regeneration!!! (…which will follow next month in April). Deciduous trees lose their leaves in the fall so that they can focus their energy on creating new buds and blossoms in the spring. This release of what is old and no longer valuable gives the tree the rest it needs to rebuild new foliage, flowers, and fruit that will serve itself (seeds to propagate and continue its species) and others (nourishing food and the beauty of a vivid crown).

If you are experiencing health issues, pay attention to what your body and the universe are telling you. If it is hard to find a cure, or if you are just starting down such a path, look at what old patterns may be creating this dis-ease. Getting well means discarding all old behaviors that are not resonating with you. Time for the new you to blossom!

All this transformation is coming from the heart, the 4. Self-love is a big lesson for multitudes since our society does not generally encourage it nor nurture it. Look at how you are loving yourself (or not); look at how you are listening to your heart (or not), and make adjustments accordingly. The beauty of this March is that it helps you to find your truth, your heart, and the precious love that all hold within.

Many blessings and strength on this journey toward self-restoration!

April 2008

Last month held the vibration of transformation. This month brings in the natural sequence of rebirth and regeneration.

The number of April plus this year results in a 14/5 (4 + 2+0+0+8 = 14), 1+4=5.

Following the endings and the leaving behind of what has lost its value, we now enter a time of starting over in a major manner. This is not to be taken lightly. Regeneration means starting from the beginning again, with a fresh new start, to create something even more powerful and wonderful.. Lightened from the release of the burden of the old, unusable past, now we are free to follow our visions.

As was true last month, April is also a time to focus on listening to the heart. April is the 4th month, and there is also a 4 in the 14 for April this year. 4 signifies the 4th chakra (the ethereal heart), and in numerology, self-love, opening the heart, and learning how to protect it. Listen to the wisdom that comes from your heart and feel all the love inside of it, waiting to be shared with the world. It is there in all of us.

Let ideas, visions, desires, and dreams spring from your heart. Get used to hearing your heart talk. Are you listening to it now? Pay attention to the parts of you that are talking. Are the words or feelings coming from your mind? Your gut? Your heart? Your ego? Accustom yourself to discerning who is speaking inside of you. This will help find your higher self with greater clarity, and experience greater flow in your decision-making.
Continue on your journey of ever-increasing self-love which includes finding the divine within yourself. Your truth lies in your higher self, and the universal unconditional love, the heavenly chi that fills our heart and soul, is shared with others through our hearts. Feel that love and let it flow! Use that love to design a future, and build a foundation for it to manifest.

These are powerful months we are in this year. Make the most of it and fulfill your dreams!!!

May 2008

Last month held the vibration of rebirth and regeneration. This month of May brings a shift into the next phase, that of change, expansion, and healing.  The flow of new energy into your life will continue to develop all you have been anticipating.  Heal past pain or trauma now to set the stage for inner growth.

The numerology of May this year results in a 15/6 (5 + 2+0+0+8 = 15, 1+5=6).

Old views and beliefs can change (5) to calm the mind (5) and say goodbye to old fears. The 6 represents healing of all kinds and on all levels, so be sure to provide yourself with adequate self-nurturing (6) to feel safe and loved (6), which promotes and encourages healing.  The number 6 also brings in bright light and joy, so enjoy fun activities and the company of  joyful people.  Let go of seriousness and allow yourself to connect with lightness and laughter.

Making decisions this month involves discernment regarding what liberates you since 5 represents freedom. Observe what limits or hinders you, and choose what sets you free. It's a good time to travel to other countries, learn about other cultures, and/or educate yourself on new topics, all part of expanding yourself. Variety tends to be preferred over the usual norm during this time, so get out there and try something new.

Express yourself in unique ways, perhaps ways that you have been desiring for some time now and haven't yet ventured. Release whatever is holding you back and allow yourself to be seen. Creatively express your true, beautiful self for the world to behold. It is never too late to start something new and different and to share yourself with others!

June 2008

Last month was a time for healing past pain and trauma to make room for inner growth. Any changes and expansion experienced then was fruitful for moving forward. This leads to the breakthrough period in June.

The numerology of June this year results in a 16/7 (6 + 2+0+0+8 = 16, 1+6=7). The number 6 is not only for the 6th month, it is also in the month's numerology for this year (16/7).

This energy (16) attracts events that, if you have not been doing your homework, can create a situation where you MUST evolve. So practice your development now, and avoid any forced advancement through difficult or challenging times. Be aware of the changes around you that are encouraging you to make advancements, and move with them. Be open to opportunities and changes in yourself and ways of being and living that can help you to move on and leave the past behind. Create a healing (6) atmosphere this month (and every month) that opens yourself to see your divinity and connection with all that exists (7). If you go through tough times, it is to help break down the ego so that your spirit can shine through. Remember that pain, suffering, and disappointments that have a profound effect can actually create a turnaround. Think of those who hit rock bottom only to see more clearly and know that the only way out is up. Keep looking in the “up” direction so that the light is always seen. Allowing yourself to shed the ego's protection so that rays of light shine on you.

Nurture yourself, as was advised last month (also a 6), to give your soul and heart what you need. Meditation helps to find the peacefulness inside that allows for clarity regarding situations and your life in general. Go into that quiet place and see how to connect with Source to receive powerful, healing energy that can move mountains and shift lives into the positive.

If you find yourself in interesting situations, do evaluate them for what they are worth. There may be hidden value and gifts there; opportunities for learning, growing, and making a new start for the better. Listen to the messages that come in, loud and clear!

July 2008

This year, July turns out to be a 17/8 (7 + 2+0+0+8 = 17; 1+7=8). Get ready for spiritual growth and progression toward peace, enabling you to find your true inner power which comes from the Great Source.

The 1 in both July's number (17/8) and 2008's number (10/1) refers to a vertical pillar representing the connection between earth and heaven (7). If you place yourself in alignment with this pillar, you can strongly connect your life on earth and your human being (1) with your divine self (7) and you will receive new opportunities (1) for inner growth and empowerment (8). Remember that everything is made up of energy, absolutely everything: You, your life, your friends and relatives, your health, your things, as well as weather patterns and worldwide conflicts.

This year of 2008 (a 1 year numerologically) is a strong “new beginnings” year. Big shifts and new changes are in store for everyone, so it's important to keep open to the new opportunities that come along. Some may be great chances for betterment on multiple levels. The 1 in the July number of 17/8 this year emphasizes this aspect even more. Prepare for the unexpected.

If you have ideas that have germinated and are ready for implementation, this is the powerful time to put them into action. Start putting your projects out there and watch them grow when you allow divine energy to flow  through you and serve you. Remember it is upon releasing control (control is external power, 8 in the negative) and trusting in the universe to provide positive gifts and flow (7) that the true power of faith in optimistic energy works wonders (8).

If you want to improve the energy on the planet, then enlighten your own energy and emanate that out to the world. Great shifts has been instigated simply by sending out loving, peaceful, inspiring energy to geographical areas and masses of people. Meditate, visualize, pray, and beam all that is good and witness what happens in the world and in your life as well. This is how to truly change the consciousness of the planet, the earthly home of all of us.

August 2008

This August is numerologically an 18/9 (8 + 2+0+0+8 = 18; 1+8=9). The 8 of the month itself is found in the 18/9 number, which brings about business and financial success. The Chinese consider the number 8 to be a lucky number, surely a contributing factor to the opening day of the Olympics set for 08/08/08 in Beijing. Perhaps the number 8 is considered lucky for its perfectly symmetrical shape. The number 8 can be cut in half vertically or horizontally, and both halves mirror themselves exactly. Perfect symmetry lends itself to perfect balance, an ideal in Chinese philosophy.

The 8 also reminds you to fulfill your destiny and do what it is you came here to do. Have faith in yourself and your purpose. Denying yourself results in frustration and disappointment. Go out there and be who you are and all that you can be. Interesting how this also applies to the competitive and self-fulfilling attitude that drives the athletes at the Olympics.

The number 9 signifies reaching out and touching many people, reminding them and teaching them about what is important. It is a vibration of higher consciousness toward improving the world with higher visions of peace and unity. Again, the Olympics reminds us that people can come together peacefully to perform at their best, striving for a reward that is not meant to result in control or power of one over another. The power and strength come from within. This is again the inner power of the number 8.

The 1 in the 18/9 focuses on the self, on how to improve and grow as individuals. It also reminds that no matter how much you may dislike something about the present, wait a bit and a new beginning will come along to change the state of things. The 18 focuses on feminine energy of the moon and the ebbs and flows that it creates in our oceans and in people's emotions. Listening to dreams is always valuable and this month dreams may have even more significance.

And last but not least, the 8 represents karma. When you see something happen that you don't understand, it is often the completion of karma for someone, somehow. Ever wonder why an athlete or a team wins when it seems unlikely or a feat of unbeatable odds? Well, sometimes the universe is acting to bring about another karmic balance in the world.

This month, let's focus on balance, peace, and fulfilling our destiny!

September 2008

This year, September is numerologically a 19/10/1 (9 + 2+0+0+8 = 19; 1+9=10; 1+0=1). This month brings both the completion (9) of past creative efforts and the opening of a fresh, new start (1) . You might feel a surge of independence, drive, and ambition, which may cause you to take chances. It's time to use all the knowledge you've gained through past experiences and apply them, along with faith in your abilities, to achieve your goals while enjoying liberation and prosperity.

This stepping out process is not to be performed without preparations and calculations. Observe and seriously consider your opportunities, then take action.

This is usually a happy period including welcoming reunions with friends and family, and rewards and appreciation for your past work. Satisfaction and contentment on multiple levels is attainable by living in the positive of this energy.

This number 19 represents the power of the sun's energy to cheer us up and feed basic life force. Let the sun shine on you, giving you strength and growing potential. In turn, also let your own light shine out to the world, radiating the strong positive energy you receive. Go boldly into the world because good fortune shines especially brightly on you this month. Just as the sun gives a plant the life-energizing force to grow, use this month's vibration of sun energy to promote growth and assure success in your endeavors.

October 2008

October is bringing in major transitions. It is imperative to be prepared for just about anything.

September was a month of endings and letting go, reflected in the 9 number of the month itself, and September's numerology of 19 for the year 2008. In a month with both new beginnings (1) and endings (9) in its numerology, you can expect the status quo to change drastically. The habits and procedure of the past may be abandoned, with a new method replacing it. Any dissolving and reorienting experienced last month reflects this.

Which  leads us right into what is coming in October.

The numerology for October  is 20/2 (10 + 2+0+0+8 = 20; 2+0=2). The number 20 represents turning points, decisions (often involving choices between various available paths), awareness, adaptability, and reconstruction.

Sudden events may occur this month, so being clear is crucial so you see all the alternatives when faced with challenging situations. Carefully evaluate each situation presented to you, including your existing one. Decisions you make during this period  may be part of a  major turning point in your life.

The tarot card corresponding to October's numerology is the XX Major Arcana card, "Judgement".  This month is the time to judge the true from the false, the time to wake up, the time to be aware of  what is happening around you. Look carefully beyond superficial outward appearances to see what is really there. Always advisable, do this especially now, on all levels, regarding all matters.

Adaptability is what will help you get through the tidal wave of this current evolutionary journey of Mother Earth's inhabitants. The economy and external power (those who like to be in control for control's sake) are shifting in ways that may feel uncomfortable for quite some time. Be prepared and willing to change your lifestyle, including an adjustment to the probable reduction in what used to be easily available luxuries. Sustainability is crucial to survival on this planet. If you own land, use it wisely.

In order for the earth to transform into a peaceful and healthy globe, a collapse of their opposites must occur. Changes, transition, and improvement require tearing down the old in order to have space for the new to be created. To remodel a home, parts of the original home are first removed to be replaced with the improvements. Reconstruction on this planet is in progress at this time.

This is not something to fear for fear only creates more negativity. This is a wake up call to adapt and adjust to the dramatic differences coming your way. Fearing any change from the familiar can negatively affect your emotions. Getting stuck in this resistance can bring on unpleasantries.  Remember, often what you hang onto desperately is what gets taken away. Be flexible and let go!

By seeing clearly and going through this growth process, you will learn more about yourself, your values, and your priorities. Act decisively and responsively after reevaluating challenges based on recent new insight. Whatever has been germinating within you can be implemented now. Just remember that your positive creative vision may make a shift in direction this month. Remain fluid and find patience.

December 2008

November of 2008 was a month of heightened cosmic consciousness in preparation for the evaluation and planning period immediately following in December. November's numerology is 11+2+0+0+8=21, 2+1=3. The 21/3 represents an awareness of the energies from beyond the universal perspective that can powerfully create shifts while supporting and enveloping the planet. I see that this had an affect on the elections that took place in the United States during that month.

December of 2008 applies the awareness enhanced by November's vibration to planning the manifestation of the creative ideas spawned during that month. The 12 of the month itself may cause delays in order to add time lapses for thorough decision-making. Ponder your ideas; let them percolate; give them time to germinate, then take action.

Combine this with the numerology for December 2008 as a 22/4 (12+2+0+0+8=22, 2+2=4) and a drive to create practical solutions to help masses in their daily lives becomes a priority. The 22, signifying a "master maker", exudes the passion to build a foundation for the future coming from a heart place with a strong impetus to impact and help people.

The 22 is a master number (double-digit of the same number), bringing with it lessons and tests to ensure that energies are focused on creating something big. The 2 signifies decision-making based on partnership, cooperation, balance, seeing both sides of every situation, and continuing to put forth a committed effort to new projects and ideas.

This numerological phase will encourage elected officials who are preparing to assume their posts in January to thoroughly think through their decisions (12), to plan caringly for the future of the public they serve (4), while focusing on enhancing each individuals quality of day-to-day life in a practical way (22), improving the welfare of the people from a heart-felt perspective (4).

Both November (21/3) and December (12/3) are months of creativity and freedom. These two months are excellent for visioning the new life you want to create and making the necessary arrangements to see them to fulfillment. Focus on your own life, pensively considering all aspects of it (12), and how much it all fits into your desires and vision (3). If you want to make improvements or changes, plan, organize, structure, and build yourself a future (4) that benefits yourself and those around you (22/4).

The Year 2009

This is going to be a year of transitions! 2+0+0+9=11; 1+1=2. Look at the two 1's as the pillars of a doorway, defining a new passage way. It is time to move on to new realizations, situations, and living styles (1) . This is the year for inspiration (11) and working with energy to create what you want(11 and 1). The 11 is a happy vibration filled with harmony, cooperation among people, and continuing efforts on new projects recently started (2). 2009 is also a year for completing projects that are finished in your opinion, such that you no longer have the inspiration to continue them. The 9 of letting go has been consistently in the numbers lately, and will culminate into a strong phase of big changes in this new year. So bring closure to anything that has served its purpose or outlived its use, and get ready for plenty of new events, approaches, and opportunities. You may feel overwhelmed by so many new perspectives and ways to go about your life...find a great delight in all the forthcoming positive changes! All the shifts that have been occurring have been preparing us for this year of moving forward on a new (1), inspired, humanitarian (11) and socially conscious path (9) for all. The 9 reminds us to focus on how to make the world a better place for all of us to live. We will see a surge in attention to sustainability of our planet and thus ourselves, as well as an increase in compassion for others.

For changes as dramatic as these to occur in a world as large as ours, there will surely be some discarding of what has been the norm in the past (9). Be flexible in letting go of these old ways by re-evaluating their true value and purpose, rather than continuing them just because that's the way it was always done. Welcome new ideas and think outside of the box. This will benefit yourself and the world.

Wishing you a 2009 of peace, love, light, and joy!

January 2009

We are off to a positive start (1) in this year of advancement through new thoughts. January's numbers are:  1 + 2+0+0+9 = 12; 1+2=3. This month, a 12/3, follows the energy of innovation and new projects (1), harmony and cooperation (2), and creativity in the form of self-expression (3). Allow your imagination to roam and allow the creative process to flourish in yourself and others around you. Communicate in creative ways, which can include writing, artistic endeavors, or simply gathering with others to "talk story" as we say in Hawai'i (3). Express your thoughts and let the world see who you are (3). Listen to yourself and let your true self be exposed and liberated (1, 3).

The 12 of this month invites us to ponder everything before jumping into action. So let ideas bubble and germinate and share your thoughts until they feel settled and ready to move forward. You can still be creative and let notions flow and encourage broad thinking. Then move on when the time is right.

This month's energy fits well with the beginning of a year of great changes (1). Be open-minded, listen to all opinions, and let it all gel. Then do what fits you and your soul (3). This is a fabulous time for boundless visions and expansive horizons!

February 2009

Ah, the 2 month of  relationships! A time for being with the ones you love, for nurturing and celebrating your partnerships, and for developing new relations with patience, cooperation, fair negotiation, and balance. And as always, Valentine's Day, the 14th, is a time for love and romance of the heart (4) and a rebirth of the energy that is your relationship (14). So be sure to express your gratitude to all who love you!

This year, February is a 13/4 (2 + 2+0+0+9 = 13; 1+3=4). The number 13 is transformation symbolized by the proverbial butterfly; a dying off of the old in order to create something totally new. There is a big difference between the life of the caterpillar and the life of the butterfly, even down to their food supply. The 4 of the heart, as in Valentine's Day, along with the 13, makes for a transition that will grow and expand your heart in a new way.

These are times of great transformations on the planet in general, which many people are feeling individually. The 13 of this month is going to compound that energy. I receive numerous questions almost daily from clients and friends regarding strange feelings of being in limbo, not knowing or understanding what their feelings mean, and wondering if there is something "wrong" with them since it is more challenging to function or find their belief system now. This is normal when such a huge change is taking place. Confusion and fogginess are signs that the new is yet to be determined.  The heart expansion alone can give a feeling of difference and unfamiliarity. So focus on what you want to create (3) from your heart (4) and that will give you a sense of great inner power (3) as you watch your life unfold as you wish it to.

Remember this February's 13 involves releasing anything from the past that no longer applies or makes sense.  The 1 and the 3 from January extend into this month, encouraging all to be open-minded to new ideas, allowing new opportunities to enter. The continuing 3 vibration allows space for boundless visions and expansive horizons. Visualize your desires and make your visions happen!!

March 2009

March, the 3rd month, is a time for creativity and expression of the soul! Be sure to reveal who you are to the world now.  Find artistic or imaginative outlets for new self-expression. Create a new life for yourself, a new career, discover a new hobby, meet new people.

This year, March is a 14/5 (3 + 2+0+0+9 = 14; 1+4=5). The number 14 represents the rebirth or regeneration that follows the transformation of the 13 experienced in the Publications month. As mentioned above regarding the 3, the 14 enhances the new life formation energy based on ideas and imagination. Examine your life (5) and visualize what you would like it to be (3), then formulate a plan or strategy for manifesting your desires (4). The 5 encourages socializing and learning through others and studying to obtain new information.

The 4 of the heart is again a matter of focus this month, so the 14 emphasizes a refreshing new start for your heart. Old pain once held in the heart chakra was released through the closure vibrations (13) of February, thus allowing for new heart growth and a positive outlook into the future. This allows for easier flow of love from one's heart out to the world, without fear of being hurt, as how a young child loves.

If you feel in limbo on various levels, this month's 5 vibration could be contributing. The 5 is all about change, flexibility, variety, and diversity, which is contrary to the organized side of the 4. Therefore, March is a time to balance freedom and movement with structure and planning. Use each equally to accomplish your goals. Listen to your mind and its logic (5), as well as your heart and its emotional messages (4), which can be very powerful. Above all, go with the flow (5) and avoid clutching onto anything, or dwelling on any rigid thoughts (the negative of the 4).

The 1 continues during each month throughout most of this year, encouraging you to be open-minded to new ideas, allowing new opportunities to enter. The 3 vibration continuing again since January allows space for boundless visions and expansive horizons. Once again, visualize your desires and make your visions happen!!

April 2009

Welcome to Spring in more ways than one. This April is a month to spring forward with new beliefs, to receive a bubbling spring of material favors, and to spring into laughter and health.

The vibration of the 15/6 (4 + 2+0+0+9 =15, 1+5=6) emphasizes money and progress that come through radical changes (5) in lifestyle. Release yourself from limiting thoughts and beliefs to allow you to freely express yourself. Let go of old views so newly discovered foundational beliefs can calm and dissipate old fears. Decide what experiences limit you and take decisive action to release them to set yourself free. This is a time for money and favors to come your way.

Since freedom (5) is so important now, be cautious about attaching yourself to things or people, especially those that bring a feeling of servitude, e.g.  working so much obligatory-felt overtime that your job controls your life. It is prudent to be cautious in all binding situations such as contracts or agreements this month.

During April, be aware of outward appearances and realize they may not match the truth beneath the surface. Sincere discernment is critical in all situations.

And lastly, strive to find lightness in calamities or problems. 15 represents chaos, and the 6 (sum of 1+5) creates light out of the chaos. Laughter is healing (6), it refreshes the soul and reconnects us to that which is important. As much as you can, lighten the seriousness of issues in your life to allow light (6) into your world, a path in the direction toward living in joy.

Spring happily into April!

May 2009

Spring has finally arrived in Hilo, Hawai'i. Late in coming and more welcome than ever!

Get ready for the unusual! Surprises and unforeseen events can occur this month. The 16/7 (5 + 2+0+0+9 =16, 1+6=7) vibration can cause unexpected happenings meant to disrupt current conditions in order to correct or alter old habits or ideas. The best advice is to be flexible (5) and open your mind (5) to the opportunity for change (5). These types of events are the universe is telling you that it's time to end the old ways for they are not working for you (16). What may feel like a drastic upheaval in your life is actually for the highest good (16/7). Those who change more readily when it is time to do so, do not need to be woken up this way.

The 5 is very strong this month, signifying great changes. Since the energy is unstable and intense, it's best to put off any speculative actions until next month. Love offered to others can be misplaced due to this force, which can cause disappointment, trouble in relationships, and a desire to become isolated. Conflicts in others can be more prevalent now.  Even though there is a 1 (new beginnings and taking risks) in the 16 this month, the 16 itself (accidents, breakthrough through breakdown) negates the value of new actions, making this a poor month for taking big, risky leaps. Save them for the next cycle.

The 7 makes health more sensitive to the intense energies, so try not to overwork. Instead, spend happy energy planning what you will do in the future once this phase has passed. Your intuition (7) is strong this month; use it to your benefit as it will provide you with messages regarding how to take caution and it will provide new creative routes to obtain goals in the future.

REMEMBER!  Bright prospects can appear just as suddenly as the disruptive types. So keep a positive mind so that you can bring in prosperity and rewards rather than losses. Work from a inner self level rather than a materialistic focus and positive forces and opportunities will come your way.

Malama pono (take good care)!

June 2009

This month comes at a perfect time to help turn the economy around and boost community involvement.

First of all, the 6 (the numeric month of June) energizes home, family, and community. Politicians currently encourage the public to participate in and contribute to changes at the local level. June brings a greater sense of responsibility toward others, and people will offer assistance to one another. It may be necessary to temporarily put aside personal needs; this does not suggest to take on unacceptable or unrealistic commitments. Harmony is the key in community endeavors. The help and camaraderie will give promise for the future.

Some ideas for this month are: Offer your home for a gathering to talk about change for the better; modify your home or car to be more energy efficient, participate in community organic gardening of fruits and vegetables, discuss options for overcoming perceived obstacles with friends and family, and so forth. Get together to work on solutions.

June for this year is a 17/8 (6 + 2+0+0+9 =17, 1+7=8), a vibration bringing good fortune, especially in the areas of money. 8 energy creates business and financial success, so this month's numerology should positively shift economic situations for all. Divine assistance (7) can bring advancements, rewards, and profitability. Remember to take advantage of this vibration: keep thinking optimistically and focus on buoyant visions which, under the law of attraction, will create a positive re-action. The 7 also strengthens intuitive and creative powers, so let ideas flow and grow, and openly receive messages that will help to solve problems.

The 1 reminds us to use leadership skills and take action. Motivating people to get involved will be fulfilling this month!

July 2009

The 7 energy of July along with 2009's July vibration, 18/9 (7 + 2+0+0+9 =18, 1+8=9), both point to health and care of the body.  When various numbers focus on the same needs, the universe will make sure we give them the appropriate attention somehow or another! Slow down, exercise outdoors, enjoy the warm weather, eat properly, and be sure to get adequate sleep each night. REST is the key word to remember.

Dreams and imagination are active during the number 18, which represents the moon, dreams, ebb and flow of life, and feminine energy. Listen to your night travels and let your imagination form new ideas, allowing them to germinate. Let the actual manifestation of your plans come later. A vacation this month is a perfect time to ponder and discover what life changes might come to mind for future implementation. Let your creative thoughts go wherever they want to go, especially out of the box!

Health and the mind always go hand in hand, and especially so now. Health improves with calming quiet contemplation. Think of it as meditating on your life, ideas, and creative channels. The moon also calls for sleep, a time when our bodies clear out waste, heal, and rest. Since the brain also rests during sleep, it can more easily be open to let messages freely flow in. Aspirations can become a part of your body as your consciousness becomes manifested in each cell.

The moon (18) also signifies paying attention to your intuition (18 and 7). Listen to your intuition regarding travel (7) (each step of a trip, pay attention to messages) and signing any documents or agreements.

The 7 is a time to be in nature, go slow, and listen to your higher self. All this coincides with the 18/9 energy of this particular 2009 month. Your visions and dreams, if you take the time to let them have their space in your life, especially now, will provide you with a clear direction forward that agrees with your inner being.

August 2009

The 8 energy of August revolves around finances, business, the material world, power, and karma. Think positive so that money comes in to pay off debts and bills. Even though times may be slow economically, if you are planning on building up a business this year, this is the month to do it while keeping profitability a priority. The power vibration creates a drive for success which can lead to overwork and exhaustion; remember balance in life. Any extra money that comes to you during this month is the result of your efforts put forth in the past; a karmic return.

The karmic attention this month can also relate to relationships. Be sure to clear up any hanging personal or interrelations issues in order to remove any karma that may be blocking your further social advancement.

The number for August of 2009 is 19/10/1 (8 + 2+0+0+9 =19, 1+9=10, 1+0=1). The 1 signifies starting something new. This newness energizes, which awakens drive and ambition as does the 8, so there is a strong desire this month to step out on your own to find liberation and prosperity, which feeds an independent streak. It is a great time for taking calculated risks including a planning process, a positive attitude, and faith in yourself.

The 19 brings in happiness, which may include happy reunions with friends and family, and good fortune to marriages taking place this month. The yang and assertive masculine power of the 19 feeds the need for--and accomplishment of--material success.

September 2009

This year, September is a 20/2 vibration (9 + 2+0+0+9 =20, 2+0=2). Since one of the meanings of the 2 is decision-making, the 20 reflects choosing between options. Changes are possible due to the opportunities that may arise, such as a new residence, a change in job, or meeting new people. Fresh alternatives stimulate new ideas and revitalize energy. The decisions you make with careful discernment during this month can manifest a major turning point. A newfound awareness in you will want to reconstruct your life, so let yourself formulate creative plans for a new direction of your choice.

These new differences support a growth period in which thoughts percolate for future implementation. Allow yourself the space for the germination of ideas, and the freedom to hop on a new appealing band wagon that passes your evaluation. Weigh pros and cons to make your decisions, then plan your approach to how your new route will manifest.

Flexibility and adaptability are valuable tools to life at this time of inevitable change. Best not to resist what is due to come, and rather focus on flowing in the direction(s) that feels right to you.

The 9 of September signifies letting go of the past and the old, which contributes to opening yourself to the concept of taking new paths, and provides a willingness to venture into the unknown.

Wishing you well on your  journey of discovering new pathways!

October 2009

Last month's energy was about thoughts and plans for change, including life reconstruction. Now October creates the environment for implementing those ideas. The old will change to create space for the new, which can manifest in the realization of your plans and wishes.  Investments you have made, whether in creativity or efforts, can result in a fruitful bounty. Seize opportunities that aid in carrying out and accomplishing your desires; this is the perfect energy for it.

This month's 21/3 vibration (10 + 2+0+0+9 =21, 2+1=3) allows for the creativity and self-expression of the 3.  This may summon an urge to travel to explore yourself and enjoy the diversity of far away places. This time can also make you feel more secure and protected, a truly helpful energy during our current economy.  The 21 opens your vision to see way beyond the planet, to gain a cosmic-level awareness of "what it's all about." This will guide prioritization regarding your projects. The 2 signifies continuation of projects you started, so utilize your contemplation and creativity from last month to make it all happen this month.

It is extremely important to stay positive during this month. If not, you may feel that your family is a burden. Sitting in negativity may make you feel limited and become indecisive (2), which can result in missed opportunities (1). Business dealings (2) can go sour, so if you are feeling negative and troubled, seek legal counsel regarding business situations for protection. Meditate, envision, and seek only the best and good.

This is meant to be a time of reaping the harvest of your visualizations (3) and receiving and utilizing opportunities (1) that come your way.  Keep optimistic and focus on fulfilling your dreams!

November 2009

This month brings opportunities for creating balance between strong, opposing energies. The trick at this time is to turn opposition into harmony.

We are living under two master numbers this month: the 11 of November, and the 22 of November 2009 (11 + 2+0+0+9 =22.

The number 1 represents starting something new, leadership, new ideas and actions, and independence. The 2 represents harmony, balance, cooperation, understanding opposite opinions, patience, and continuing what was previously begun. The 1 makes us want to do things our way, while the 2 reminds us that we can make great headway when we work together. The 1 pushes our ideas up to be utilized, while the 2 allows us to see other points of view and find ways to bring differences to focus on one cause. The 1 is a driver that wants everything to happen right now, while the 2 suggests patience with others, ourselves, and timelines beyond our control. Notice how the number 11 totals 2 (1+1=2). Thus the 11, an exponential value of the 1's entrepreneurial independent leadership and risk taking energies, is also reminding you to pay attention to the 2's qualities.

The number 1 and the 22 go together, in that the 22 is another driving number to create something practical that will help masses of people in everyday life. The entrepreneurial energy of the 1 supports the 22.

The sum number for this month is the 4 (2+2=4). Organizational skills, building foundations, details, and practical approaches are useful now.  The 4 also reminds us to listen to our heart. So if you are feeling the drive to take new risks, do so with evaluation, discernment, and attention to what you heart says, wants, and needs. And remember to listen to the hearts of others and their needs, as well.

December 2009

This December, the energies focus on harmony among various ideas, opinions, and peoples and the appreciation of diversity. You may experience more open self-expression due to an acceptance and safe environment created those around you who want to participate, cooperate, find balance, and work together to find harmony.

December 2009 is a 23/5 (12 + 2+0+0+9 =23, 2+3=5), and the month itself is a 12/3. Thus the 3 vibration encourages you to reveal the true you to the world through creative activities. For those of you who give presents during the holiday season, this month is perfect for designing or making gifts that share a piece of you with the recipient.  Being especially helpful and truthful this month brings rewards and peace of mind.

This month's numbers can form contractual agreements and settlements. If this is the case for you, be sure to finalize and sign them prior to Mercury Retrograde, which occurs between December 26, 2009 and January 15, 2010.

Spend time with others to understand them and develop deeper relationships. This helps to increase patience and tolerance for differences. Travel, usually common during this holiday month, is appropriate, especially to educate oneself and enhance awareness of other cultures.

It may seem at times that things are not progressing as quickly as you would like due to the 12. Remember that this is a time to be with family, to share time together, and to slow down. If you choose not to slow down, the universe may make it happen for you!

Wishing you a joyous and restful holiday season followed by an abundant 2010 in all positive aspects!

The Year 2010

Our new calendar year welcomes in the 3 vibration. The numbers 1, 2, and 3 each fall in 2010's numerology (2+0+1+0 =  3), calling for a new way to do things. The 1 encourages experimentation and new activities, the 2 provides a reinforcement of projects already started, while the 3 opens the gates for freely-flowing creativity and self-expansion.

The 1 motivates new endeavors and calculated risk-taking involving decision-making processes(2) along with cooperation, patience, and partnership (2). Whatever you start this year will expand successfully because of the 2's energetic support and the working-together mode of the current millennia.

The 3 energy is a great realm for blossoming creativity and expression of the soul. Optimism, enthusiasm, and abundance will be prominent if you focus on the positive with gratitude. Growth and expansion will occur in all areas of life. Recognition for artistic talent will abound.

Business and pleasure mix well during a 3 year. Freedom to cultivate personal desires is critical, so ensure that your career/business/livelihood enhances this aspect and allows for imagination. Becoming involved in too many projects can allow the 3 to cause scattered energies, which can distract.

Pay attention to dreams that bring messages and opportunity alerts. The power of wishes and open thinking is great this year, so make your desires very clear, and be sure that they are what you want!

Hau'oli Makahiki Hou!  Happy New Year!

January 2010

This January is a 4, which follows in the sequence of numbers after the 3 of this year's vibration. This 4 energy (1 + 2+0+1+0 = 4) usually focuses on planning, building foundations, and practicality. Since we have quite different energies running concurrently, this 4 energy may be counterbalanced by the 3 vibrations of the year itself. In other words, creativity and free thinking may overrule structure and organization. If you try to make things happen, your planning efforts may be contradicted by unexpected forces. Mercury is retrograde until the middle of the month, which will accentuate these forces during the first couple of weeks.

Respect the power of this year's creative mode, and follow your heart (4) rather than your orderly tendencies (4), for both are resonances of the 4 energy. Let your heart express itself through your art, ideas, passions, and motivations. Let imagination inspire your actions. Whatever projects you begin will move forward with their own life-force energy.

Send love (4) out from your heart into the world in whatever way feels right to you, and remember that self-love (4) is the route to ultimately loving others.

The 1 of the first month of the year reminds that it is a good time to start new projects. Let your heart lead the way, let it define the form that your projects and ideas will take, and then allow them to flow. There is so much creative energy pulsing through this year, you will likely find January to include active formation from thoughts and you might experience a few surprises.

February 2010

Since February this year is a 5, don't be surprised if you feel restless and want to roam. This month's energy will call for travel to new places or to experiment.  Explore new interests. Enjoy adventures and new cultures.  I personally know of three people moving to far off lands this month to start new lives or activities.

Changes will come when you might not be expecting them. Flexibility and adaptability are always helpful virtues during 5 periods. Going with the flow will be more helpful than planning and organizing. Let your mind wander and allow good things to come your way. Freedom is key; spread your wings and fly. Watch the changes going on around you, then decide what is best for you as a result, paying attention to what you feel and your inner knowing.

A variety of experiences will provide room for learning and freeing the mind. Expanding and cultivating the intellect through studying, reading, and any form of knowledge expansion can be a passion during February.

Meeting new people is easy now. Take advantage of socializing for business pursuits. Love affairs can be fast and intense. As usual, use discernment and your thoughts in evaluating new people who come into your life.

Enjoy the variety and newness that comes with this month. Diversity always stimulates creativity and imagination!

March 2010

CREATE, CREATE, CREATE!  This is the time!

Welcome to the month of creativity!  March itself is a 3, and we are in a 3 year, so both month and year support expressing your true self in whatever form feels most comfortable. March of 2010 is a 6 (3 + 2+0+1+0 = 6), which is a double 3. The number 6 resonates creative energy as well, manifested in a different way.

The 3 focuses on allowing the world to see who you are. Imagine your third chakra speaking for you and through you. Let the inner you naturally flow to show who you are on the outside. Freedom of expression and free thinking are to be respected; they play a role in manifesting visions. Let your imagination soar, see your ideals clearly, and let your creativity make it happen. Since 3 involves communication, it's a great time to share your thoughts, ideas, and visions.  Not only is this year a great time to speak your truth and express yourself, this month adds even more energy to the range of possibilities. Art of any kind, writing, music, dance, poetry...a new job that fits you better...a new living situation...remodeling a home...the list is endless for opportunities to release your inner passions.

The 6 vibrates creative energy in the form of beauty. Thus your creative projects will be esthetically pleasing and/or will make people feel good. They can also have a healing effect on you or others or both. Family may be involved. You can also teach or counsel others through revealing your own inner being. Most of all, unconditional love will surround you this month more than usual, giving you a feeling of warmth, light, hope, and nurturing.

You can create whatever you want this year, and even more so this month. Set yourself free and create the life you want to live!

April 2010

The 4th month of the year is a time for redesigning your life. The creativity and vision of March can now be implemented with some organization and planning. Apply only as much structure as seems to be needed, for too much rigidity and formality can hamper the creative flow overlapping from last month.

Most are probably watching your finances due to the economy, and this month is a good time to budget, pay debts, and save (if you can) for something you've always wanted or to bring your visions into reality. This month may cause you to pay more attention to the physical in general, since the 4 relates to details in the material world.

The number 4 also refers to the heart and self-love, so during this month, pay special attention to your heart's desires and feelings, providing yourself with the nurturing and support you need. During this period, you may also experience enhanced loving relationships. Since the 4 includes building strong foundations for the future, you can apply this to all areas, such as developing ways to satisfy your own needs, and enhancing your home, your life, and your relationships.

April of 2010 is a 7 (4 + 2+0+1+0 = 7), which may pull you  to reflect on yourself and your life, in great time with the redesigning focus of the 4. Analyzing is typical of the 7, so review your goals, projects, and relationships. The 7 encourages being alone in quiet, in order to meditate and reflect. Inspiration will fill your visions and intuitions, continuing the creativity of March. Metaphysical disciplines can be helpful during this time.

Contrary to the 4, the 7 energy pulls away from finances, business, and pushing to make things happen. The 7 allows for magical completions to occur. So be sure to allow for balance between the 4 and 7 energies during this month in order to take full advantage of the combination of these two polar vibrations.

Since the 7 regards the physical body, pacing yourself and getting plenty of rest is crucial. Vacations and travel fit this energy, as long as they are relaxing and allow time for introspection.

Use this time to go deep within to find your divine self, the beauty in your heart, and a gentle peace.

May 2010

This month is an interesting combination of the 5 of the month of May and the derived 8 of May 2010 (5 + 2+0+1+0 = 8). The 5 calls for mental activity, communication, and movement.  These can be in the form of increasing your knowledge, applying your intellect to projects, socializing, traveling, and all aspects of life changes. The 8 represents business or work, finances, and karma, which show up as positive financial flow, successful business endeavors, and receipt of payments and debts from seeds you have sown through efforts, love, concern, etc.

These two numeric vibrations can make promoting a company, product, or service successful now due to the ease of communication (5), meeting new people (5), and joining of business and play (5, 8). The desire for change (5) will open minds (5) to try new things or start new projects (8). A greater intellectual comprehension will also occur during this time, making speakers feel that they are being heard (5, 8).

You may find greater responsibility accompanying these changes, reflected by the 8. Remember that the freedom of the 5 will discourage you from being tied down, so find a balance between the two. The 8 creates an inner drive for success, while the 5 creates a drive for knowledge. These two will create a strong creative force for accomplishments of ventures that have been brewing.

Wishing you all the best in the reaping of your harvest!

June 2010

This month is a 9 (6 + 2+0+1+0 = 9), signifying completions and letting go. You might leave a job, a living situation, or relationship(s) if they have lost their value in your life. The 9 vibration that brings endings alsomakes it an appropriate month to complete projects. Therefore, this is not the best time to start new endeavors.

The 9 also represents community service, which can inspire you to feel like helping others even more than usual. The 6 of the month of June coincides with this since 6 represents nurturing and listening to others. All this compassion and reaching out to people in need can create opportunities for coming together and supporting community efforts. Both the 6 and the 9 are vibrations that encourage teaching, so get out there and share what you know with interested folks.

Remember, since this month may bring departures and losses, the more that you detach from to what is no longer of benefit, the easier you will adjust. Hanging on to the past can lead to discontentment and frustration. Instead, look forward to the positive possibilities of the future that will now have space to enter into your life.
