Due to the importance of the upcoming election on November 4^th in the U.S., this month's reading is about the Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates.

While reading this information, keep in mind that personal numbers can be lived out in positive and negative ways. For example, the number 1 can represent great leadership qualities and the strength to stand on one's own; or it can be manifested in wanting to be in power from an egotistical standpoint, thinking s/he has all the answers, or being independent to the point of not listening to the advice of others. A 2 can be used to create harmony and cooperation, or it can be applied to divide groups into two differing positions. And so on.

Interestingly, all four candidates hold numerological similarities. This is actually common, since common numerological vibrations in people draw them together. Birds of a feather flock together, so to speak.

Initials in Name

Three of the four candidates' first letter of their first name is a 1, representing leadership, new ideas, management skills, along with many new beginnings in their lifetime. Obama's name, on the other hand, starts with a  2 representing cooperation, teamwork, the ability to see opposing views, decision-making strengths, and carrying through on started projects.

Biden's three initials, 1, 9, and 2 include the partnership strengths described about Obama. His 9 brings in humanitarian community service, reaching out and touching many people, integrity, and an awareness of how to improve life on our planet. No wonder he has been driven to serve in government office for decades. The integrity of the 9 is what causes him to fervently express his passions and beliefs.

McCain's initials are 1, 1, and 4. Being a leader is very important to him (1), as is building a strong foundation for the future (4) through listening to his heart. Unfortunately, in his campaign, he has focused so much on the potential power of leadership (1) and control (4) that it seems he has forgotten the heart part of the 4 and how to connect with people at that level.

Sarah Palin's maiden name begins with an 8, which manifests as seeking executive power, especially in the areas of government and finances. This explains her desire for the VP position to have greater power than in the past. Her middle initial is a 3, a sign for communication, desire for freedom from structure or boundaries, and self-expression. Although her English skills have been criticized, her charisma connects with people, commonly found in salespersons (who are often 3s). She speaks openly, often without thinking beforehand (not using structure). The 1 of leadership with the 3 of freedom and 8 of power combines to form someone who wants to be boss without any checks on themselves. The word uncontrollable comes to mind.

Obama's initials, on the other hand, represent working together well with others (2), having the skills to run a position of government or a company (8), and a healing and nurturing white light of someone willing to listen to the problems of others (6). The 6 and the 2 transform the 8 of power into wanting to use that power for the good of others to create harmony (2) and a family feel (6) (as noted in his plans to get individuals in this country involved in their communities).

Life Paths

In their life paths, once again, three of them are 11s. Being a master (double digit) number signifies the desire to do something important in the world while going through a lot of heavy experiences in order to grow quickly. 11s are inspirational leaders by example; people follow them no matter what they do (the double 1 of leadership). Others see their challenging lives and how positively they come out of situations; and this impresses people. Therefore, 11s are inspirational. They are also powerful with energy, and can create humanitarian shifts in people's perceptions. Sarah Palin is the only candidate who is not an 11 yet she was born in the 11^th month.

McCain's life path is a 56/11. This number 56, a combination of intellect, foreign matters, and communication skills with large populations (5), and solving people's problems (6) is also famous for having a feeling that others are not to be trusted. This could account for his energy placed into attacks toward Obama instead of focusing on speaking his own truth.

Biden's life path is a 47/11. This combines building for the future, listening to and speaking from his heart, planning and organization skills (4), and a desire to fully analyze all matters while also listening to his intuition (7).

Obama's life path is a 29/11. Here we see once again his cooperative nature, seeing all angles of matters, and decision-making skills that are also in his first initial (2). As in Biden's middle initial (9), Obama's integrity is critical to him. His desire to make a difference in the lives of the populace along with his vision of how to make worldly improvements and focus on community service (9) all strengthen his 2 qualities, formulating a person who really knows how to create change through listening and working with others.

Palin's life path is a 53/8. Those with two numbers of a freedom vibration (3 and 5) usually find it extremely difficult to be told what to do. Combine that with the 8 of wanting executive power, and you have someone who wants all the power without necessarily cooperating. Interestingly, George W. Bush's life path is a 33/6, a double whammy on the side of wanting to do things his way and not wanting to take orders. (His 33/6 does represent sacrificing oneself in a life of service to others; again choice of focus on specific aspects of the numbers is usually specifically tuned to each person's priorities). Both the 3 and the 5 in Palin's life path signify communication skills and vision, which have helped both of them to reach the offices they have held even though neither has been praised for their ability to speak, only to speak freely perhaps before thinking. They both do hold visions of what they want(ed) to create, and they have been successful in creating their own desires. 5s like change, so Palin will always want to make changes. Whether these have been the desired changes of the people they are serving is another matter. Palin has not focused on her 5 number in the areas foreign policy or travel, or even intellectual development, nor in her 3 or 5 regarding speaking skills. Freedom and power have been her focus instead.

Other important numbers to note

Obama's 11 lies not only in his life path, but is also found twice in his name, and his soul's purpose number is a 29/11 just like his life path. His purpose in life is exactly the same as what his deepest soul wants to create. So his integrity toward community service is accentuated. People perceive him (46/10/1) as being someone who listens to his heart and has the skills to build solid foundations (4), listens to others and wants to help them (6), and is a leader (1). The 0 brings in divine protection so that he is especially safe (good for a President to carry around!!). The 10 signifies bringing in knowledge and skills from the past into today. His destiny number is again very similar: 104/5. The 5 here adds an ability to communicate well to masses of people, the ability to create change, and the intellect and knowledge of worldly matters. The 3 in his destiny number gives him skills as a visionary, communicator of his visions, and worker for the freedom of others due to his other numbers' focus on community service. The 1 of leadership shows up ten times in Obama's name, and eight times in his overall numerology. He was born in the 8^th month (power in executive position). Obama's current year is 22/4, a master number involving tests and challenges, and is also called “master maker” in which he wishes to accomplish something huge in the world that will help people in a practical way.

Biden's numbers overall focus on working together (2), creating change (5), transformation (13), and regeneration (14), leadership (1) and building foundations skills (4), service (9) and listening to his heart (4). These are seen in his outer personality number (52/7), his deep soul's desires (49/13/4), his destiny number (101/2), and his power number (his extra strengths) (148/13/4). His power is both in transformation (taking something that is not working and developing it into something successful (13), and regeneration (recreating something wonderful out of a recent ending) (14). His name has a 55 in it (massive change) and a 22 (wanting to do something important in the world that helps people on a daily basis), as is Obama's personal year. He was even born in 1942, accentuating these traits once more. In fact, his whole birth date repeats his strengths: 11/20/1942. His life path is an 11, and here is the 2 of cooperation and continuing efforts in projects seen once again. He has the greatest variety of numbers of all the candidates, which makes him the most well-rounded of them all. Biden's current year is a 42/6, a time for planning (4) regarding teamwork (with his running mate, regarding the opposition, and the whole nation) (2), in an effort to heal the damage that has occurred to the nation (6).

McCain's numerology is also strong in the area of transformation and the ability to take something that is falling apart and make it successful (13): His destiny number is a 76/13/4, his power number is a 132/6, and his current year is a 58/13/4. His current year number is very strong in communicating with the masses (5), obtaining power in government (8), and leaving behind the old to create something new (13). This is a big reason why the polls have showed him as successful for a long time. The 1 of leadership shows up in McCain's name six times, and six times in his overall numerology. He also has a 55 (big change), a 33 (self-sacrifice in the name of service), in his name. He does have a karma number of 2 (cooperating and seeing both sides of situations), which means that this has been an area of where he needs to put extra focus. His record of bipartisan efforts would display whether he has used the 2 to join forces of opposing sides, or to remain split from the opposition. He was also born in the 8^th month, representing executive position of power.

Palin's numbers focus on leadership in the form of control while appealing to the hearts of people. There are five 1s (leadership) in her name, three 1s in her birth date (2/11/1964), and three 1s in her overall numerology. She has a karma number of 4 (missing from her name and not cancelled out by her married name). Although her karma is to learn to listen to her own heart and compassion, she does things like shoot wolves from helicopters. She has four 4s in her overall numerology, through which she has focused on developing a foundation for her desires and her self-interests (1). Palin's personal year is a 23/5, almost the same as her life path, so she feels truly in her element at this time. These numbers of communication and freedom are powerful for her and felt strongly by her right now.

Election Day

The day we will vote is a 25/7. The positive vibration of this date is that it is a decision day (2), along with the vibration for a harmonious environment through working as a team (2), the desire for change and making logic-based decisions (5), and trust in a higher power and one's intuition coming from one's higher self (7) in making decisions (2). The 4 of the date itself is also powerful in that it encourages focus on listening to one's heart. The potential problem of this day, if the divisiveness (2) of this nation prevails, is that it could split the country into two pieces (2), making the election results very close.

So please go out and vote from a humanitarian perspective (November, the 11^th month), following your heart (the 4^th day of the month), for a candidate who will create a powerful brand new beginning (2008=1). Use your intellect (5) and thorough analysis (7) to make a wise decision (2) for harmony (2), peace (7), and change (5).
